Kimberly Wharton & Shiv Naimpally
Bio: Shiv has been playing tabla since he was 10 years old and has been learning yoga since he was 25 years old. He has studied yoga with many yoga teachers, including Mansukh Patel and B.K.S. Iyengar. Shiv has performed tabla at numerous Yoga and Sound workshops conducted by Ramanand Patel, a senior disciple of Mr. Iyengar, including Feathered Pipe Ranch and Mount Madonna Center. Shiv is classically trained, and has performed with many of India's leading musicians.
Bio: Kimberly is an E-RYT 500 certified yoga instructor who in her 20 years teaching, has taught in NYC, LA and now Austin. While in Austin, she has led Teacher Trainings and both local and International Retreats. She holds a lighthearted space, focusing on breath, alignment, and self-inquiry.
Kimberly is an E-RYT 500 certified yoga instructor. As an actor in NYC, she used the Ashtanga Primary series for warm-up before every stage performance. Yoga was, for her, the key to breath support and presence. So in 2002, she began her journey as a teacher. Kimberly holds a lighthearted space, focusing on breath, alignment, and self inquiry.
