The Aquarian Teacher™ KRI Level Two Teacher training program Mind & Meditation in Austin, Texas is sponsored by the Flow Yoga studios and led by Mehtab Benton.
Mind & Meditation is a 60-hour course with classroom hours and independent study. It is an in-depth transformational learning and teaching experience with a well-designed curriculum, manual, and support materials. Mind & Meditation is one of the five modules required for Level 2 certification as a Kundalini Yoga Practitioner.

Mehtab began his studies with Yogi Bhajan in 1973 in San Rafael California where used the techniques of Kundalini Yoga in the ashram’s drug rehabilitation program and later attended the first yoga teacher training course personally taught by Yogi Bhajan, the Master’s Touch, in the 1990s. He is a KRI Lead Trainer who has trained hundreds of Kundalini Yoga teachers in Level 1 and Level 2 courses across the United States over the last 20 years. He received the Kundalini Yoga Teacher of the Year Award as well as the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers’ Association award for “Building Yoga Communities.”
Mehtab is the originator and author of Gong Yoga, the first book and course on using the gong with the practices of yoga and meditation. His book, Teaching Gong Yoga, has been used in yoga teacher training classes by teachers of all disciplines, and his book Gong Therapy has provided the foundation for teaching sound healers, healing professionals, and yoga teachers how to use the gong therapeutically. His passion is in training students from all backgrounds in how to play the gong, and he has created a video course and an online course (www.gongdharma.com) to instruct students who do not have the opportunity to train with him personally.
Mehtab is a life-long astrologer who discovered the spiritual potency of using Indian or Vedic Astrology to guide people in finding their dharma and life purpose. He is a mentor in the American College of Vedic Astrology and has trained yoga students and teachers in the basics of using astrology with their spiritual journey. His book Astrology Yoga is the first and most comprehensive book that integrates the practice of Yoga with the wisdom of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology).
He and his wife Laura, or Guru Karam, have lived in Austin, Texas for over 40 years where they have taught yoga together in the five yoga studios they founded in 1997.
