In the meridian series, we will explore the 12 yin meridians
Meridians are water-rich channels in the connective tissues, especially the fascia, that flow in and through all the major structures and systems of the body. Qi - our primal energy is thought to run through these channels. Yin Yoga was designed to activate Qi and move this primal energy through the meridians or channels of the entire human body, specifically, the connective tissues. Students will learn about the connection of energy in the body to the physical, emotional, and psychological effects on the person.
