I developed a consistent yoga practice as I worked towards embodied awareness and radical self-acceptance and self-love. Yoga has been an instrumental tool in my healing journey and in understanding my body. I realized that I wanted to dive deeper into learning more about the practice and how I can share it with others. That led me to move to Austin, Texas where I participated in the Waking Yoga 200-hour, trauma-informed yoga teacher training. The Waking Yoga training has equipped me with teaching skills that focus on accessibility, body positivity, and liberation, which has led me to joining Body Collective.
