I was first introduced to yoga in 2002, and quickly discovered the awesome blend of physical, mental, and spiritual practice that would facilitate a greater maintenance of health throughout my life. Years of poor posture and unconscious habits were revealed and, in time, replaced with increasingly positive body awareness. This level of fitness would greatly compliment my other passions, including biking, volleyball, and weight training.

Like many, I found yoga for the physical benefits, but immediately recognized of even greater importance was the mental strengthening and the connection to my spiritual life. I couldn’t wait to share this with others and lead towards an enhanced quality of life of their own. Since my certification in 2006, I have taught with the desire to guide others toward their own path of self-discovery, greater strength and balance in their lives, and toward shining a brighter light of service and love in their world.

My favorite thing about teaching yoga is creating experiences that bring a greater health and awareness of body, mind, and spirit! I love to help others tune into a deeper presence and peace as they move with their body and breath, giving the opportunity to experience every aspect of oneself on a whole new level. I love to see the power of positive community in every class, and also the drop into private mindfulness, often the only chance we may get all day long to ourselves. See you on the mat!
