Crystal B.

Crystal's journey with yoga is grounded in an exploration of self-acceptance and holistic healing. For her, yoga is a transformative experience of mental wellness, physical empowerment and spiritual centering. As a former athlete and gymnast, Crystal was initially drawn to yoga as an alternative to higher intensity exercises to support chronic pain issues. As someone who has been afflicted with crippling depression and anxiety, she quickly discovered her appreciation for yoga's healing benefits to support mental & emotional well-being.
In 2017, Crystal began her teacher training journey with a mindfulness-based & trauma-informed Raja Yoga program at the Niroga Institute in California. She recently completed the Vinyasa teacher training at Flow Yoga in the Spring of 2024. Her style of teaching incorporates mindful movements with meaning, deep relaxation and approachable sequences for any body type or level of strength and flexibility. When she's off her mat, Crystal serves in the community as a mental health advocate and certified peer specialist. She is active in her church and is a proud mom, wife and dog lover!

Learn about Restorative Yoga ›

Yoga means union, and also union of opposites...effort and ease, strength and flexibility. To find balance in the body, we need both movement and stillness. Flow +Chill is a combination class, starting with a slower paced vinyasa, followed by restorative poses (supported by props). We will flow for half of class to warm the body up, then take the second part of class to stretch, release tension and dive into a deeper state of chill. Some classes might include sound healing, breathwork or meditation.
