Ecstatic dance is an intuitive movement based expression exercise with few cues.
The practice will ebb and flow to a curated set played by a live DJ. The playlist will have a rising and flowing energy culminating into a peak - then transitioning into stillness to finish off with a meditation/?havãsana and sound vibration healing.
Upon check in, there is an opportunity to socialize with the community.
The cacao lounge is next door if you would like to purchase a cup of cacao to experience additional heart opening.

During this breathwork and sound healing journey, you will be given the opportunity to go inward and connect deeply with yourself using your breath, feeling deeply into any present body sensations. With your breath as your guide, you’ll be invited to release any suppressed emotion, in whatever way your body wants: by moving the body, sighing out loud, crying, laughing, or by simply staying present with the breath.
On your back, with eyes closed, you will be led through a series of deep-breathing exercises. The first half of the class will be more rapid breathing, to activate the sympathetic nervous system, and the second half will be more relaxed, with slow breathing to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. You’ll also be led through several breath holds. The breathwork will be synced with music and at certain points the instructor will play additional drums, chimes, and sound bowls to support the experience.
Through the cleansing power of the breath, emotions will often come forth to be felt, honored, and then released, leaving you feeling lighter and more connected with yourself and the world around you. This class is a safe container to feel and express any emotions or feelings such as anger, sadness, joy, or anything else that comes up for you. No previous breathwork experience required.

An experienced percussionist trained in West African drumming as well as a variety of evidence-based facilitation methods, Suzy utilizes drumming to help participants relax, engage and connect through the universal language of rhythm. From retreats to company team-building events, wellness workshops, Suzy’s rhythm programs are designed to break down barriers, reignite alignment and inspire strong connection among group members of all ages and abilities.

The 5th sutra of the AQUARIAN AGE calls us to use the power of mantra and sound. In this two-part musically restorative class we chant mantra to clear our karmic path, uplift our frequency, and ignite our inner guidance system. Then surrender into a cosmic bliss with crystal singing bowls and gong.
No prior experience needed - everyone is welcome.
There are yoga mats and blankets for use at the studio but feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, and any other items to make yourself comfortable (pillow, eye mask, etc.)
During this breathwork and sound healing journey, you will be given the opportunity to go inward and connect deeply with yourself using your breath, feeling deeply into any present body sensations. With your breath as your guide, you’ll be invited to release any suppressed emotion, in whatever way your body wants: by moving the body, sighing out loud, crying, laughing, or by simply staying present with the breath.
On your back, with eyes closed, you will be led through a series of deep-breathing exercises. The first half of the class will be more rapid breathing, to activate the sympathetic nervous system, and the second half will be more relaxed, with slow breathing to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. You’ll also be led through several breath holds. The breathwork will be synced with music and at certain points the instructor will play additional drums, chimes, and sound bowls to support the experience.
Through the cleansing power of the breath, emotions will often come forth to be felt, honored, and then released, leaving you feeling lighter and more connected with yourself and the world around you. This class is a safe container to feel and express any emotions or feelings such as anger, sadness, joy, or anything else that comes up for you. No previous breathwork experience required.
Yoga mats, blankets, and eye masks will be provided on a first come, first serve basis (but feel free to bring your own).
Allow yourself to steep in supported, grounded poses as we work deeply to unwind connective tissues to support the flow and even distribution of vital energy to the body.
This late night offering will leave you feeling gooey in the best possible way and help you to ease into a restful night's sleep.
Multiple props will be used to cradle your body. We have props available for use but you may like to bring your own of the following to get extra cozy: yoga mat, blanket(s), bolster/pillow, eye mask.

Love this cacao bar! They sell both cups of cacao, as well as blocks of cacao from all over Central America, including Cacao Source and Nantli Cacao from Guatemala. The only thing I wish could be improved is their sustainability efforts. Every cup of cacao is served in a single use coffee cup. Maybe one day they could offer reusable mugs or cups for customers dining in. All in all, it’s a wonderful space and I highly recommend checking it out in Austin!

I've lived in Austin 15 years and have always wanted to spend more time in/around the Casa De Luz and Third Eye Lounge community, and decided to dive in with the intro package at the start of 2024. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Booking is easy, parking nearby is abundant, and there are props/blankets/mats on site. The community is welcoming, humble, and very diverse. Truly a mix of ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.
There's a wide range of classes and events, the instructors are professional and provide consistently good experiences (each with a different personality), and the space is a nice haven right in the middle of Austin. I am also a member of a local gym that I love and have taken Yin classes there, but stepping away from a fitness space to practice mindfulness has been a nice change of pace.
