Megan E.

Megan’s yogic journey began in 2012, where after college she was searching for a way to decrease anxiety and heal from serious injuries. After several years of consistent practice, Megan became a certified instructor through BFree Yoga in 2017 and has been lovingly teaching ever since. She has 180 hours of training with David Kyle in Rocket Yoga (a progressive and creative lineage with roots in Ashtanga), as well as a secondary 200 hours with Gioconda Yoga and Free People Movement.
Her classes are a combination of powerful standing sequences followed by grounding seated stretches, with lots of breath-centered meditation weaved throughout. Megan believes deeply in the power of bodily movement to calm and heal the mind, as well as the mind's distinct power to direct the body, leading to a deeper union between the two. She is dedicated to teaching and growth via exploration of both physical and philosophical tenets of Yoga, and wants nothing more than to impart the same for her students.
