Jimmie D. – Vinyasa, Hatha, Deep Chill, Yin & Soulful Movement Instructor
Jimmie D. began practicing yoga over 20 years ago, originally to improve flexibility and focus while training in Kenpo Karate. What started in 2003 as a complement to martial arts soon became a vital source of grounding and healing during his two-decade career in federal law enforcement.
Throughout 20 years of service, yoga and movement were Jimmie’s way of staying connected to something deeper—his breath, his body, and his humanity. That inner practice now shapes the way he teaches: with presence, compassion, and a come-as-you-are spirit.
A certified Vinyasa teacher and longtime wellness advocate, Jimmie brings real-world experience and deep listening into every class. Though his past includes law enforcement and martial arts instruction, his classes are rooted in softness, self-awareness, and soulful movement.
At Flow Yoga, Jimmie holds space for students to explore their own paths of reconnection—through breath, movement, and shared presence.
> “Yoga doesn’t change who you are—it helps you remember who you’ve always been.”
Whether you're new to yoga or returning to your mat, Jimmie D. invites you to move with intention, breathe deeply, and leave feeling a little more whole.
