Free Arati & Kirtan Community Gathering

Join us for a special community gathering as we livestream the Saturday morning Arati from the Hanuman Temple at Mount Madonna Center in California. Together, we'll share in a beautiful tradition of music and intention that has brought people together for generations.

Arati is a ceremony that uses light, chanting, and song as expressions of gratitude, reverence, and love. While it originates in the Hindu tradition, many people experience Arati simply as an opportunity to slow down, open the heart, and connect with something larger than themselves.

This gathering offers a glimpse into Bhakti Yoga, often called the Yoga of the Heart. Bhakti is the practice of cultivating love, devotion, compassion, and connection. Rather than focusing on physical postures, Bhakti Yoga invites us to experience yoga through community, music, gratitude, and shared spiritual practice.

No prior experience with Arati, chanting, or Bhakti Yoga is needed. You are welcome to simply observe, participate as much or as little as you'd like, and enjoy the experience in a supportive and welcoming environment.

We'll gather together, share tea, and enjoy the opportunity to connect with one another while participating in a meaningful practice from the broader yoga tradition.

This event is offered freely as a gift to our community. Whether you're seeking spiritual connection, curious about the deeper roots of yoga, or simply looking for a peaceful way to begin your weekend, we would love to have you join us!

Brianna is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher trained in Classical Ashtanga Yoga. She has been teaching since 2021 and has been on staff for three yoga teacher training programs. Her passion lies in helping people find peace and embodiment through the practice of yoga as well as helping others establish their own sadhana (daily spiritual practice). In Brianna’s asana classes, students can expect a gentle yet strengthening practice that is both breath-centered and alignment-based. Her approach honors the traditional foundations of yoga while offering space for personal exploration.
Brianna’s yoga journey began in 2006 with a casual introduction to asana, but it wasn’t until five years later—when she discovered her home studio and a beloved teacher—that she truly fell in love with the practice. A decade of consistent asana practice eventually led her deeper into yoga philosophy, where she found teachings that resonated profoundly with her inner truths. What began as a personal exploration evolved into a calling. Though she entered her teacher training with no intention of teaching, the experience awakened a sense of purpose—to share the timeless tools of yoga as a path to resilience, clarity, and equanimity.
Outside the studio, Brianna enjoys being in nature, skateboarding, rock climbing, deepening her own yoga practice, and spending quality time with loved ones.
