Join us for some deep rest in this special 2 hour long Yin and Yoga Nidra event. Your body and mind will thank you.
What is Yin Yoga? It is a relaxing form of yoga involving gentle movements and longer held stretches. It does not require any previous yoga experience, six pack abs, or a high degree of flexibility. The yoga movements involved are simple, gentle, and can be easily modified to accommodate most injuries or different levels of ability/flexibility.
What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation in which you lie down in a comfortable position and are guided through body scans, visualizations, and deep breathing to come into a state between waking and sleep (Nidra actually translates to sleep). In this state, the body and mind are able to rest and rejuvenate deeply. This practice has been shown to help with insomnia, stress, PTSD, and overall health.
