A Yoga & Creative Writing 1/2 Day Mini Retreat

Join us for a harmonious blend of Yoga & Creative Writing designed to encourage freedom of movement, unlock creative expression, and enhance mindfulness.

The retreat will oscillate between gentle “micro” yoga practices and creative writing; both inspired by a variety of cues and prompts. The movement and structure of this methodology is based on scientific research that supports accessing the right brain; the part of our brain that is responsible for creativity.

We’ll explore the intersection of both guided and intuitive movement and how it informs the non-linear thinking part of the brain where creativity is birthed and expressed. This longer format will allow participants to take time for intention setting, deepening and honing their skillset, finding their unique voice, drawing on inspiration from others, and integrating these practiced into their daily lives.

This is an all-levels retreat open to anyone regardless of yoga or writing experience. Please bring  your favorite journal and pen, yoga mat, water, light snacks and any other cozy comforts.
