The 8-Step Yogic Path for a Successful Meditation Practice

There is nothing wrong your mind. This workshop is for you!

In Intro to Meditation you will learn the 8-step path illuminated in ancient yogic literature, why it has such a profound effect on the body and mind, and why it is still helpful and important in today's world.

This workshop will cover:

a variety of optimal seated positions for meditation

how best to prepare your body to sit

breathing techniques to calm the body and prepare the mind for a meditative state

how to tune out noises and distractions

simple concentration techniques for a good meditation practice

the real meaning of meditation in yoga

This 2-hour workshop you will give you a set of basic tools to help you successfully meditate any time and enjoy it as a regular practice.

* Previous yoga experience is not required to benefit from these techniques.

Meet your host

Dina began teaching vinyasa yoga in 2004 in NYC and later in Silicon Valley, CA. She has 500 hours of yoga training and several certifications including prenatal yoga, kids yoga, and meditation instruction. She has taught group classes, workshops, and private clients at health clubs, corporate offices, and universities.
