PranaShakti (tm) dance is a conscious movement practice that combines elements of many forms of dance, Ayurveda, Kundalini, and Hatha yoga to remove energy blocks, reconnect mind and body, reawaken creativity, express emotions, pray with the body, and ultimately come home to peace, love, and freedom. You can expect to sweat, laugh, cry, and be set free. This is a barefoot practice, but if you need to wear shoes for support, please make sure they are clean and free from debris. Bring water, a small towel, your yoga mat and a journal. This workshop will include a physical practice where we will go over foundational movement mantras as well as some basic yoga practices, as well as meditation and journaling. No yoga or dance experience required. This is class is open to anyone who identifies as a woman.
