We're hosting a two-hour Gong Fu Cha-style tea tasting led by West China Tea that is going to be all about slowing down, sipping with intention, and letting the flavors and aromas take you on a journey.

Multiple short steeps of some seriously high-quality teas, each one revealing a new layer of the leaf's character. No big pots here - just small rounds poured so you can fully drop into the sensory experience.
A quiet, cozy, communal vibe where you can kick back, tune inward, and share in the simple magic of tea. It's the perfect way to unwind and connect.

So-Han

So-Han Fan is the founder of West China Tea, Austin's only Chinese-style teahouse and one of the nation's premier importers of farm-direct Chinese tea and tea ware. He has been practicing Gong Fu Cha, the Chinese art of tea service, for more than 20 years, and has been teaching classes and importing tea for more than a decade. His life's work is in introducing people to the plant, art, and culture of Chinese tea through education, training, and creating community teahouses. He is also the host of the award-winning YouTube show Gong Fu Tea|chA.
