What to expect

Our hot yoga is a special kind of yoga that is practiced in a warm room, usually between 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat in the room helps your muscles loosen up, which makes it easier to stretch and move during the yoga poses. It's like warming up before playing sports, but instead of running or jumping, you're doing yoga!

The warm environment in hot yoga can help you sweat more, which some people believe can help "cleanse" the body by getting rid of toxins. It can also make you feel more flexible and relaxed. Hot yoga classes usually include a series of poses that help you work on your balance, strength, and focus.

Practicing hot yoga can be a fun way to exercise and improve your physical and mental health. It's important to stay hydrated and listen to your body during the class, taking breaks when needed. If you're new to hot yoga, it's a good idea to talk to the teacher before the class, so they can help you get comfortable in the warm room and with the poses.

I’ve been going to Jillian’s amazing flow classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for over a year and can’t say enough about them. Recently, having more time on my hands, I’ve been checking out daytime classes and have been consistently impressed by all of the instructors. The studio is truly a magical place where no matter what is going on in your life, if you make it there and onto a mat you will always be so glad you did.

5 star rating Victoria H. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate February 4, 2025

I’m so glad I found Flow Yoga Westgate! All of the instructors are caring and truly love what they do. Not only do they offer a great variety of classes and schedules but they have wonderful special events and retreats. I love the sense of community I feel when I’m there.

5 star rating Lisa G. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate February 4, 2025

Every class I’ve attended at Flow Yoga has been better than the last! Truly a great spot to get your yoga fix-whether you want to relax, build strength, build flexibility, or just get a really good workout, Flow Yoga has it all.

5 star rating Alicia C. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate February 5, 2025

I wanted to get back to a regular yoga practice at a studio, so I tried Flow Yoga Westgate with their new student special. The studio staff, instructors, and clientele are very welcoming. There are a variety of instructors, yoga styles, and classes available at times that work with busy schedules. I love it so much that I continued with the Unlimited option. One of the nice things about this "membership" is there are no contracts, no sign-up fee, and no cancellation fee. A bonus is their tasty yogi tea!

5 star rating Janet R. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate February 6, 2025

Flow Yoga is everything you want in a yoga studio/community. I am so grateful I found them! The classes are transformative and healing, every single one! And the instructors are encouraging and soothing, challenging and nurturing. I feel like I'm floating when I walk out of each class. Even with a busy schedule, I am able to find a class/studio I can make it to, and kept my 30 day daily commitment to yoga. Now that 30 days have passed, I'm completely hooked and fully committed to Flow Yoga.

5 star rating Sherry K. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate January 29, 2025

I love it here! I've never belonged to a yoga studio and I've felt welcomed. This is a great place for a beginner (such as myself) to enjoy yoga and not feel intimidated.

5 star rating Sabrina P. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate January 30, 2025

Great yoga studio with knowledgeable teachers and a variety of classes and events. There is often a heated fast-paced class at the same time as a slow gentle class, allowing you to tailor your movement based on your needs for the day. The membership also extends to their location up North and their location at Casa de Luz, which is a big plus.

5 star rating Brianna M. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate January 28, 2025

This is an excellent studio with a wide variety of classes and events! It’s always a pleasure to meet the teachers and fellow students every time I go!

5 star rating Shawn 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate January 29, 2025

I have been very pleased to reconnect with my yoga practice through Flow Yoga. The variety of classes and instructors that are available make it very accommodating to find just what I need. Although I am limited in my abilities, no one makes me feel like I don’t belong! If there were anything I would like to see different, it would be for them to replace the bolsters with new ones. I’m very grateful to have this wonderful studio available to me!

5 star rating Lana R. 5 star review for Flow Yoga Westgate January 5, 2025

Flow Yoga is an amazing yoga resource for people in Austin, and I love the Westgate studio the most. It's a great location with a lot of variety of classes to choose from. The instructors are all skilled and engaging, and it feels like an intimate experience every class. As someone who only did vinyasa before joining Flow, I've loved learning Hatha, flexibility + mobility and more - there is something for everyone here!
