at GeorgetownWhat are you grateful for? October’s Harvest full moon is the time to celebrate your "spiritual harvest"—recognizing your abundance, your personal growth, achievements, and blessings.
Join Joanie for a dynamic class that blends the empowering movement of Nia with the deep rest of Yoga Nidra, designed to give gratitude to your body, mind, spirit and life!
We will begin class with breath and movement that honors the full harvest moon, then flow into a playful, heart-pumping Nia class to awaken and celebrate your abundance! We'll wrap up with a nourishing 30-minute Yoga Nidra (guided rest meditation) to anchor your gratitude and leave you feeling abundantly light, steady, and renewed.
What is Nia? Nia is a barefoot movement practice that blends martial arts, dance, and healing arts into one joyful, expressive class.
What to Expect:
All bodies and levels welcome. No dance or martial arts background needed. Just come as you are, wear comfy clothes, and bring water.
My life purpose is to help humanity awaken to their self-healing potential. Whether it is a smile, a laugh or a reach to the sky, we all have the ability to self-heal! As a Sacred Athlete and Somatic Movement Educator with over 25 years’ experience in the healing arts, I desire for everyBODY to reach their full potential and live a life of
pleasure.
