Yoga means union, and also union of opposites...effort and ease, strength and flexibility. To find balance in the body, we need both movement and stillness. Flow +Chill is a combination class, starting with a slower paced vinyasa, followed by restorative poses (supported by props). We will flow for half of class to warm the body up, then take the second part of class to stretch, release tension and dive into a deeper state of chill.

One of the most popular yoga myths is the belief that you need to be flexible before ever setting foot on a mat. The truth is, flexibility isn’t a prerequisite. In fact, a regular yoga practice will actually help you become more flexible over time. Increased flexibility can help decrease the risk of injuries, create a better range of motion of joints, lengthen muscles, improve balance and overall health!Flexibility + mobility is a fun, judgment-free space, suitable for all levels. In this class we will work on different muscle groups and joints each week, using yoga, mobility, and stability techniques as well as Myofascial release to improve range of motion and flexibility. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, and tennis balls will be used to target specific areas and help ease your body into the poses and stretches. Modifications and options will be offered throughout the class.

As we step into a new year, the impulse to set ambitious goals and dive into action is strong. Yet, this drive often misaligns with the natural rhythms of winter—a season that calls us to pause, reflect, and recalibrate. This month's Somatic Workshop invites you to honor this sacred stillness, offering a transformative space to connect with your body, clarify your values, and craft a vision rooted in authenticity. Each session includes personalized one-on-one moments with Katie in a supportive group setting, where somatic practices help release stored tension and awaken the body’s innate wisdom. Together, we’ll explore how your core values serve as a guiding compass, aligning your choices with your true self. Using reflective exercises and insights from neuroscience, you’ll learn to harness the power of visualization, training your subconscious to recognize opportunities and bring your vision to life.To deepen this transformative work, join our Monthly Somatic Breathwork Event. This practice helps integrate the insights from the workshop, fostering a profound connection between mind, body, and spirit.Whether you’re beginning your journey or seeking to deepen your practice, this is a safe, nurturing space for self-discovery, growth, and embodied living. Together, we’ll sow the seeds of intention, nurturing them as we move through the seasons.Make sure to bring a journal**Receive a $10 discount when you book both the Monthly Somatic Workshop and Somatic Breathwork for the same month.

This free event is open to all, regardless of background or belief, and offers an opportunity to explore a meditative state through the singing of sacred mantras and spiritually uplifting songs.Kirtan is not a performance but a collective journey of self-discovery.
