What to expect

Flow classes are intended to provide a middle ground for the Yang practices. Blending elements of vinyasa and hatha, flowing and holding, while also allowing for creative interpretation individual to each of your incredible Flow Instructors.

Flow is slower paced than your vinyasa classes but faster and more succinct than a Hatha practice. Classes will have elements of flowing sequences as well as extended holds so that practitioners can get aspects of expression and structure in a balanced and all levels friendly container. The degree to which each element is present will be individual to the teacher but regardless this class is inclusive to all.

The main goal of this style of yoga is to create a state of calmness and balance while finding strength. You can also perform it as a form of moving meditation. It helps bring the body into a state of deep relaxation and mindfulness by working with the breath and practicing mindful movements and holds in a slow and gentle manner.

Join Us for a Free 2.5-Hour Breathwork GatheringWe're excited to invite you to this free community breathwork session – This is a gentle, heart-led breathwork experience designed to help loosen emotional and energetic density in a safe, grounded, and nurturing way.Rather than powerful or forceful breathing, we'll guide you through a slow, intentional breath rhythm: in through the nose, out through the mouth with a natural sigh. Think of it as your body getting the green light to relax, soften, and release whatever's been hanging around – old stories, feelings, or just that subtle heaviness. With some guided pauses, soothing sounds, and plenty of time to integrate, we'll hold space for whatever comes up. Emotions, sensations, or quiet insights – we meet it all with awe, compassion, and curiosity. Nothing's forced; release happens on its own time. Many folks walk away feeling lighter, clearer, or more connected to themselves. You're always in control – breathe softly, rest, sit up, or step out whenever you need. This isn't about pushing limits; it's about honoring where you're at.What to Bring Along:Blanket or layers (it can get cozy and cool)Water to stay hydratedAn open heart and a willingness to meet yourself gentlyWe want this to be safe and supportive for everyone, so heads up if you have:PregnancyEpilepsy or seizure disordersSevere heart issues (like recent heart attack or stroke)Uncontrolled high blood pressureHistory of psychosisDue to limited number of places, we need 24 hrs minimum cancellation to fill your spot with someone on waitlist. Great place for multiple styles of yoga. Chill environment

I visited Flow Yoga in March and ended up joining in April because the experience was that good. The classes, instructors, and staff are consistently amazing — welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing. As a 27‑year military veteran, I deal with chronic pain and tension. Flow Yoga has been one of the few places that has truly helped me manage pain, relax, and reconnect with my body in a supportive way. Every class feels intentional, accessible, and grounding. The environment is peaceful, the community is kind, and the quality of teaching is exceptional. I’m grateful to have found a place that supports both physical healing and mental calm. Highly recommend.

Started yoga January 2020 and did not get many classes in before the world stopped. Between that and years following by caretaking and retirement, I have been not connected to any community. Flow Yoga has a vibe that reminds me of grad school, with interesting students and widely divergent instructors. Every class reflects the teacher and with so many classes and teachers available it would difficult to call this school routine or dull. Plus an unexpected bonus is their active events reflecting holidays, retreats and mediations on special subjects. I waited to join until my mat from Liforme arrived, but I need not waited as there are mats available. I felt foolish being a beginner and getting a pro mat, but it’s added to my overall enjoyment. After my trial membership, I chose the unlimited membership as I show up two to three times a week and enjoy the time spent there. I can not say the same for gyms I have signed up for previously, but it’s very similar to being in a martial arts school with the positivity and encouragement in abundance for its students.
