In yoga, we are all lifelong students. I'm sure you've heard it before, and I guarantee you will hear it again - it's a common theme throughout the yoga journey, and one of the golden nuggets that makes it so special. There is always something new to learn, whether it be about posture, balance or simply yourself. The most seasoned practitioner is as much a student as the nervous yogi that just purchased their first mat. And, one of the best ways to learn more about your own practice is to share it with others.
Through our Yoga Teacher Training, we provide a robust and comprehensive training that gives you the tools to safely, and confidently, create and teach Hatha and Vinyasa style yoga classes. Created in partnership with an experienced instructional designer, we crafted our program to put the student first, and our intention is to nourish your love for yoga, while also setting a strong, educational foundation to further your yoga career and practice. It's #YogaForYall, y'all.
This Training is both for those wanting to dive deeper into their practice, as well as those whom wish to teach to others. You don't need to be flexible or be able to hold fancy poses to qualify - come one, come all!
Let’s go with the #flow.
We're excited to teach you a methodology that propels both your yoga practice and instruction. From asana to breath work, sequencing to chakras, you will gain a well-rounded understanding of the practice, and art, that is Yoga.
Yoga is an ancient practice with a long, compelling history. As a teacher, it's important to know what you are teaching and understand where it comes from. Background knowledge allows you to properly share the sacred art, with purpose and intention, and it's also really cool! There is much to learn about real-world application of the key, philosophical texts, asanas and rituals. After a year like 2020, I think we collectively learned a little bit more about the importance of human connection. Our yoga teacher training allows you to link with a community of like-minded yogis to enhance your passion, dive deeper into personal growth and reach a broader range of students. As you grow and learn, you have endless love and support from this shared, sacred, safe place.
We intend to provide you a firm understanding of the human body's anatomy - its practical application to asana - so you can practice and teach with greater confidence, skill and knowledge. Yoga gets a lot cooler when you understand the foundational aspects of your body, the literal breath and bone, that allow you to hold a pose for 5 breaths, move from strain to ease, and tap into each posture's full potential.
We'll teach you the art of peak pose sequencing, which will empower you to craft safe, smart and creative classes.Through our training, you'll deepen your own mental well-being by learning to practice, and teach, key meditation and pranayama techniques. We have dedicated journaling time, sequences to dissect and understand, structured practicums and practice-teaching that will radically deepen your personal practice and elevate your teaching. Koshas… chakras… vayus… you'll fully understand what each of these are, where they stem from and learn more about yourself through these subtle body systems.

This is more than just memorizing 10 key poses, we're going to make sure you you understand what yoga can do for the body and how.
We'll be going further into the anatomy, how the body works for different body types, and developing your instruction to adapt to various body types.
*You're going to know a thing or two after this training
I know I know. If this training is SO DAMN GOOD how is it SO DAMN CHEAP.
We're glad you asked.
The normal in-person courses have big expenses like rent, insurance, utilities and complicated logistics like staffing and canceling regular classes to accommodate the training.
With online training comes online savings and where other online courses turn their savings into their profits, we're turning our savings into your savings.
You have as much time as you need to complete this training. This course comes with lifetime access.
After completing the materials you will receive a 200 hour training certification from Flow Yoga but you will not be able to register with Yoga Alliance. Many studios do not require registration with Yoga Alliance to teach classes and after this training you will be able to put together a solid demo or class that showcases your new teaching skills.
Once we have given you full access to the content its kind of hard to get it back, so refunds are possible only up to that point.
We have a variety of ways for you to ask questions as you go through the course. You can join our private Facebook group, post the question within the training portal, email us at anytime, join our weekly live Zoom calls, or join us for the monthly in-person workshops where we will answer any questions you have and give real-time feedback on your teaching in front of a group of students.
To take the teacher training from the comfort of your home, you will need a mat, an area of space to practice and some pen and paper. You'll also need a place to upload and share your videos with us (like a private Youtube or Vimeo account). A tripod and bluetooth headset will make your videos easier for both of us. If possible, a quiet environment to help you focus. Any props you have - blocks, straps, bolsters - will be helpful, as you will be learning how to teach using each.
Our training is focused on Vinyasa and Hatha style yoga. Much thought, knowledge and skill go into a teacher training program, as does a style of yoga, and we encourage you to teach what you have the most interest in.
