Alejandra N - Yoga Teacher at Flow Yoga Austin - Flow Yoga Austin

Alejandra N.

Alejandra has been in the fitness industry for over seven years, beginning her own journey while balancing the full schedule of motherhood, work, and school. She experienced firsthand how consistent movement transformed not only her physical strength, but also her mindset—building discipline, mental clarity, and resilience that carried into every area of life. Determined to train efficiently, she became certified in electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) training and explored the science of muscle growth and conditioning through bodybuilding. This gave her a deep understanding of strength training, proper muscle activation, and creating workouts that challenge the body effectively.
Through her fitness journey, Alejandra discovered that true wellness goes beyond physical aesthetics—it’s about connection, self-awareness, and honoring the body. This realization led her to yoga, where she learned to integrate mindful movement with strength-based training. After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Flow Yoga, she now combines her expertise in muscle engagement with the grounding, breath-centered practices of yoga. Her classes are both mindful and physically engaging, helping students return to their bodies, cultivate self-love, and build strength from the inside out.

Hot Vinyasa yoga offers a dynamic hot yoga experience where poses flow together with breath in a hot room (85-90 degrees). Vinyasa keeps you constantly moving through creative sequences that never feel repetitive. The combination of heat and continuous movement creates an energizing practice that quickly builds internal warmth, promotes detoxification through sweat, and helps muscles stretch more deeply. The hot environment intensifies the experience, creating greater flexibility and a purifying sweat without the extreme temperatures of some other hot yoga styles.Read class details

Flow is a moving, breath-led class where you'll shift smoothly from one pose to the next without stopping to rest between them. You will be guided through a series of positions that build strength, improve flexibility, and help with balance. We begin with simple stretches, move into a sequence of uninterrupted motion, and end with relaxing poses. You will be guided with step-by-step instructions, while easier or harder options for each position will be shown. This class works for everyone—beginners get simpler options and more experienced students can try more challenging versions. You'll leave feeling stronger, more flexible, and relaxed.Read class details

Yoga means union, and also union of opposites...effort and ease, strength and flexibility. To find balance in the body, we need both movement and stillness. Flow +Chill is a combination class, starting with a slower paced vinyasa, followed by restorative poses (supported by props). We will flow for half of class to warm the body up, then take the second part of class to stretch, release tension and dive into a deeper state of chill.Read class details
