Jeannine I.

Jeannine has been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade and has a foundation rooted in the field of education. She is a yoga alliance certified 200 hour yoga teacher, who received her certification through the Breathe For Change program. In the spring of 2018, she was a lead trainer at Breathe for Change and facilitated the social emotional learning portion of the training which focused on mindfulness and how it relates to the classroom.

Jeannine has been a special education teacher in Austin for 11 years and has a Master of Education from UT. She believes that yoga should be accessible for all and creates an environment in which all abilities are welcome. Jeannine specializes in children's yoga and has facilitated yoga, meditation, and mindfulness workshops for school districts, as well as public and private schools.

Jeannine is certified in sound healing practices and uses crystal and metal singing bowls to deepen her meditative experience for sound baths and private sessions. She is excited to bring this modality into her teaching and practice with adults and children.

Jeannine runs an Austin-based small business she co-founded with her sister, a licensed massage therapist. They offer mindfulness parties that combine massage, sound baths, and unique vintage boutique pop-ups to create one-of-a-kind gatherings at residences or public venues.
