What to expect

Flow classes are intended to provide a middle ground for the Yang practices. Blending elements of vinyasa and hatha, flowing and holding, while also allowing for creative interpretation individual to each of your incredible Flow Instructors.

Flow is slower paced than your vinyasa classes but faster and more succinct than a Hatha practice. Classes will have elements of flowing sequences as well as extended holds so that practitioners can get aspects of expression and structure in a balanced and all levels friendly container. The degree to which each element is present will be individual to the teacher but regardless this class is inclusive to all.

The main goal of this style of yoga is to create a state of calmness and balance while finding strength. You can also perform it as a form of moving meditation. It helps bring the body into a state of deep relaxation and mindfulness by working with the breath and practicing mindful movements and holds in a slow and gentle manner.

Ecstatic dance is an intuitive movement based expression exercise with few cues.   The practice will ebb and flow to a curated set played by a live DJ. The playlist will have a rising and flowing energy culminating into a peak - then transitioning into stillness to finish off with a meditation/?havãsana and sound vibration healing. Upon check in, there is an opportunity to socialize with the community. The cacao lounge is next door if you would like to purchase a cup of cacao to experience additional heart opening.  There will be a brief description of the class and container rules and an opportunity to ask questions before leading into movement.    Container rules include:-No shoes-No talking-Consent & respect required for interacting with anyone during the practice-There is a space provided to congregate/talk-Flow toys welcome but not provided-No drugs/alcohol

My name is Olexandra I am a teacher of hatha yoga, which in Sanskrit means "hatha" - strength, perseverance, absolute necessity, and "yoga" - connection, unity, curbing the mind. My journey started 9 years ago when I first came to a yoga camp and got acquainted with different types of yoga, meditation, mantras, and chanting and immediately dived into this wonderful world! Having visited India, and Nepal, I got even more convinced that yoga plays a substantial role in my life, and now I want to share with other people my knowledge and see my destiny in serving the world this way. The great sages of the past left us a remarkable legacy in the form of yoga, which not only helps us to be healthy physically but also helps us mentally, with our fears and anxieties. I believe that through the physical body, we can work with the energy in the chakras and the soul. The entire universe is in us, you just need to believe in it and yoga will help you to feel it. Love this cacao bar! They sell both cups of cacao, as well as blocks of cacao from all over Central America, including Cacao Source and Nantli Cacao from Guatemala. The only thing I wish could be improved is their sustainability efforts. Every cup of cacao is served in a single use coffee cup. Maybe one day they could offer reusable mugs or cups for customers dining in. All in all, it’s a wonderful space and I highly recommend checking it out in Austin!

My hope is that it will serve those who seek it 🙏 Whether you are already a dedicated yogi, someone seeking to establish their practice, or first time on the mat, this class is for you.
