Kayla is a yoga teacher, sound practitioner, and lifelong student of holistic wellness, nature, and the human experience. Her approach to teaching is rooted in the belief that healing and transformation begin with learning to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect to the body with compassion and curiosity.
After practicing yoga on and off since 2011, Kayla developed a deeper relationship with the practice in 2020, when yin, restorative yoga, breathwork, and sound healing became powerful tools for supporting her nervous system, severe anxiety, and overall wellbeing. What began as a recommended personal healing practice has gradually evolved into a passion for creating intentional spaces where others can regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with themselves, and begin to heal.
Inspired by both the philosophy and science behind yoga, breathwork, and sound healing, Kayla weaves together mindful movement, breath awareness, nervous system support, somatic presence, sound, and intentional rest in her classes. Her teaching centers on choice, self-awareness, and meeting the whole body where it is each day, encouraging students to move in ways that feel nurturing, grounding, and sustainable.
Deeply passionate about nature and holistic living, Kayla often incorporates seasonal, lunar-inspired, and earth-based themes into her offerings, inviting students to reconnect with the rhythms of both nature and themselves. In class, you can expect gentle guidance, moments of reflection, nourishing movement, and space to simply be.
When she’s not teaching, you can often find Kayla wandering or wondering. She enjoys hanging out with her partner and two sons, spending time outdoors, traveling, exploring herbalism and working with natural wellness practices, creating meaningful rituals, and expressing herself through music and the arts. With a background in musical theatre and a lifelong love of singing, dancing, and storytelling, she brings creativity, presence, and authenticity into the spaces she holds while continuing her studies in healing, movement, and embodied living.
