I absolutely love this studio. The classes are so unique yet so much fun, and often allow you to get silly. More than anything, I love the community - it's a great place to make friends.

A gem! Yoga, sound healing, ecstatic dance, breath work, erotic movement, improv, and poetry open mics? At a yoga studio? Yep! This place is awesome. I was staying in an Airbnb around the corner and stumbled on this place. $30 for the first 30 days got me and I'm glad it did. In the past week I've gotten way out of my comfort zone, experienced deep healing, found community and made friends. Can't wait to see what other magic unfolds! Thank you to the owner and all the instructors for cultivating such a wonderful space.

It's in the name. This is a different kind of yoga studio. Where imagination blends with practice. I really like the classes here, they're just different and you get to connect with people because it's smaller and more intimate (for example the improv classes). If you're kind of weird and quirky and spiritual, you'll find your people here!

Super cool spot! The chakra yoga class I had was great. Don’t forget to clean your mat before and after if you borrow from the space!

I tried this studio because it was at a middle point between my friend and I, and have really liked it so far! Lots of class options (though I wish there was more than one heated class time), and they feel intimate not intimidating

I hadn’t taken any yoga classes in over a year, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find Flow. The classes were gentle yet invigorating enough to get me right back into it, without feeling overwhelmed or like I couldn’t keep up with others. I’ve really enjoyed the classes I’ve taken so far, and the instructors I’ve had. This really is a peaceful yet energetic, kind and open space to practice in. Plus- plenty of parking and it’s right next to Nervous Charlie’s! Yoga then bagel is the move

FAQ

Yoga is like a full-course meal, while stretching is like a quick snack. Yoga incorporates breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness, while stretching is more focused on the physical aspect of flexibility and range of motion.

To know if you're doing a yoga pose correctly, channel your inner detective. Observe your alignment, check in with your breath, and listen to your body. If something feels off, make adjustments or ask your instructor for guidance. Remember, it's not about being perfect – it's about finding what works best for your body.

Yoga helps with mindfulness like a GPS for your mind, guiding you towards the present moment. It can help you learn to focus your attention, reduce distractions, and increase self-awareness. Plus, it's a lot more relaxing than listening to a robotic voice telling you where to turn.

Yoga is like a magical flexibility and balance potion, working wonders on your body over time. It stretches and strengthens your muscles, which can lead to improved flexibility and balance. Just don't expect to be doing backflips and splits after your first class.

There are many different types of yoga, each with their own focus and approach. Some of the most common include:

  • Ashtanga: a dynamic and physically demanding practice
  • Bikram: a series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, practiced in a heated room
  • Iyengar: a meticulous style that emphasizes proper alignment and the use of props
  • Kundalini: a spiritual practice that involves chanting, meditation, and dynamic movement
  • Restorative: a gentle practice that uses props to support the body in passive postures.
