at WestgateWelcome to our free community yoga class, taught by our team of dedicated yoga trainees!
Our trainees have undergone extensive training in various yoga practices and are excited to share their knowledge with you and continue to stretch and grow their teaching muscles (so to speak!)
Experience the benefits of yoga in a way that's accessible to all ages, abilities, and mobility levels. This Chair Yoga class adapts traditional yoga postures for seated practice and uses a chair for support. More than just physical movement, this practice will help you to cultivate presence and awareness every day.
With adjustments for every body, we'll explore gentle stretches to increase flexibility and range of motion, supported strengthening and balancing exercises to build stability, and mindful breathing techniques to calm the mind and reduce stress. Chair yoga can help you to improve circulation, reduce pain and stiffness, enhance balance and coordination, promote better sleep, and foster a sense of well-being.
Whether you're new to yoga, recovering from an injury, or simply seeking a gentler practice, join us in a safe and supportive environment to explore the connection between breath, body, and movement.
Fresh out of our teacher training program, these grads are excited to share what they've learned with you. Each class is taught by a different graduate who's stepping into their teaching journey. They've put in the work to get certified and are ready to practice their skills - all they need now is you! Come join these classes to support our newly graduated teachers.
