The Great Planksgiving: Turkey Trot Flow

Before the feast, hit the mat for a playful community challenge! Think of it like a yoga version of a Turkey Trot: lighthearted, sweaty, and all about showing up together.

The Second Annual Great Planksgiving at Flow Yoga Georgetown is a fun, spirited, and community-driven yoga “race day” that celebrates endurance, movement, and joy. A Vinyasa style class moving through a ladder-style flow with modifications and rest stops throughout! Each round will build on the last, stacking poses to test your endurance, focus, and stamina.

Expect plenty of heat, laughter, and flow as we move in unison, building toward a joyful finish line.

No matter your pace, there’s space for everyone! You’ll leave feeling energized, connected, and ready to celebrate the day ahead.

We will have our FAMOUS Celebration t-shirts available after this event for purchase!

Claire is known for strong vinyasa classes focused on connecting breath to movement and finding the balance between strength & flexibility, as well as effort & ease. The dynamic movements and transitions are supported by crystal clear cueing to support each pose.

Claire has completed several yoga teacher trainings and is a RYT 500 & E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and in the last few years made major life changes to share her love of yoga with others full time.

Claire discovered yoga at a young age, thanks to her middle school offering a yoga class. She remembers feeling lighter and more peaceful on the days she participated in class. After many years without a practice, she rediscovered yoga as a way to find movement in her body but discovered so much more. Claire primarily practiced Vinyasa and Yin yoga and began to fully dedicate her self to her practice as a student. Claire challenges herself to try new and difficult things and fully immerses herself in a meditation practice which has helped her live more mindfully with presence. After years of a consistent yoga practice, Claire wanted to deepen her understanding of the philosophy of yoga and learn to share her passion with others.
