Tia F.

Tia started her yoga journey at a very young age. As a student of yoga and dance, Tia relied on yoga to fuel her flexibility and strength in the dance studio. Yoga and creative movement is the foundation of Tia’s physical and mental well-being. Tia's wellness approach is to offer like-minded souls the opportunity to pursue their own inner peace while nourishing mind, body, and spirit through movement. Tia invites and encourages students to explore their edge, lean into new possibilities, and maybe release something in order to make space for growth. Tia enjoys guiding students on their wellness journey by embracing connection and healing, where movement, community, and personal growth intersect on a path to lifelong wellness and peace.
Tia grew up dancing at the Judith Clark Academy of Dance outside of Boston Massachusetts. Tia graduated from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston Teacher Training Program and went on to study dance at the University of Massachusetts, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Dance and Business. At UMASS Boston, Tia enjoyed traveling throughout New England and New York as a performer, teacher, coach, artistic director and, award-winning choreographer for the University Dance Company. With lifelong ambitions to open her own studio, Tia continued her business education at Bentley University where she earned a master’s degree in Business and International Tax. As a dance teacher, yoga has always been an integral modality and vital to her personal fitness training. After attending her first yoga retreat in the Azores Portugal, Tia decided to take her yoga practice to the next level. She completed her 200 Hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga in Austin, Texas specializing in Vinyasa. She also obtained her Acupressure and Yin Yoga Teacher Training certification at Frog Lotus Yoga International “FLY” in Andalusia, Spain. During her first yoga teacher training, Tia was blown away by yoga's rich history and fascinating philosophy rooted in centuries of teachings. Tia is committed to a tireless pursuit of yoga continuing education.
