Vinyasa Yoga At 3rd Eye
Flow with breath in this dynamic and energizing Vinyasa Yoga class. Designed to build strength, flexibility, and balance, this class links breath to movement through a creative sequence of postures. Expect a mindful flow that cultivates focus, endurance, and body awareness, ending with a grounding cool-down and relaxation.

Class typically starts with simple stretches, moves into a sequence where you are always in motion and ends with relaxing poses.

Suitable for all levels as the teacher will give step-by-step direction, may offer modifications for certain poses and cue for optional use of props such as blocks or bolsters to assist you along the way.

Whether you're looking to challenge yourself or find your flow, this class invites you to move with intention and presence.

Preparing for class:
*Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, checking in, and setting up your mat. Classes take place in the Alma room located in the front courtyard of Casa de Luz.

*While we do have a limited number of mats available, we may not have enough for every student in larger classes. To ensure everyone is covered, we kindly ask that you bring your own mat if you have one. This way, those who truly need to borrow one can do so. With your help, we can continue to support one another and make our shared space comfortable and accessible for all.

We also invite you to bring any personal items (blanket, eye mask, pillow, etc.) that will help you to feel extra comfortable during class.

*Some of our classes may include optional physical touch, such as gentle adjustments or supportive contact, to help guide you in your practice. Your instructor will always announce this at the beginning of class.

If you prefer not to receive any physical touch, please feel free to let the instructor know before class begins. We fully support your choice and want to ensure that you feel safe, respected, and comfortable at all times.

FAQ

Absolutely! Yoga is like a universal language for your body. It can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels, and can be adapted to meet the needs of each individual. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting on the couch all day.

Yoga helps with PTSD like a therapist, providing a safe space to heal and recover. It can help you learn to manage your thoughts and emotions, increase self-awareness, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Plus, it's a lot more relaxing than traditional talk therapy.

Yoga helps with posture and body alignment like a GPS, guiding you towards your destination. It can help you learn to stand tall, align your spine, and move with more ease and grace. Plus, it's a lot more fun than listening to a robotic voice telling you where to turn.

Yoga helps with endurance like a marathon runner, helping you go the distance without running out of steam. It can help improve cardiovascular function, increase lung capacity, and reduce fatigue. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than running until your legs give out.

Yoga for children is like a superhero training camp, only without the spandex and capes (unless you're into that sort of thing). It can help improve focus, concentration, and coordination, while also promoting self-esteem and body awareness. Plus, it's a great way to tire them out before bedtime.
