Vinyasa (heated) At Flow Yoga North Loop with Michael P.

Vinyasa yoga is a creative form of yoga. Yoga poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence. Expect to move, sometimes vigorously, from pose to pose. This practice stimulates and energizes the mind and body through asanas (poses), with focus on the breath. This class will help you to build strength, increase endurance, create flexibility, and release tension.

If you appreciate having things a little loose and like to keep moving, this style is definitely worth a try.

Style: Yin / Yang yoga class Learn about Yin / Yang Yoga class style ›

Yin is a slow, mindful practice that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Working with the energetic systems of the body, Yin Yoga brings the body into balance, and improves its natural range of motion. Most poses are done while seated or lying down supported by the use of props, and are held in stillness for several minutes. As we move into stillness, we bring body, breath and soul into harmony. It’s a perfect complement to physical yoga practice. You will leave class feeling refreshed, renewed and restored.

Just started my first month and I am so glad I signed up! All of the teachers have been so warm and friendly, and I love that the studios don't have mirrors - I can feel myself connecting with my body so much more, and thinking less about how I look. Highly recommend Kundalini with Gurudhan or Vinyasa with JJ, and looking forward to trying more classes ✨

This studio is so welcoming - truly a place for folks of all abilities and body types. I have loved having teachers here who offer modificaitons and show how to use props to make poses more accessible.

I am so happy to have found Flow Yoga. I regularly attend Stretch + Strength with teacher Selena Gervais and would highly recommend this class. I take several other yoga classes, but this is my favorite. It can be challenging since it incorporates a fair amount of core exercises and some cardio in addition to stretching. This class is on Monday at North Loop. Selena is excellent and has such a welcoming, enthusiastic spirit. She will adjust the class routine at times to meet different people’s needs and is fun to work out with. Love her music, positive motivation, energy, and yoga philosophy. Hope to see you in her class! Eric L

I hadn’t taken any yoga classes in over a year, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find Flow. The classes were gentle yet invigorating enough to get me right back into it, without feeling overwhelmed or like I couldn’t keep up with others. I’ve really enjoyed the classes I’ve taken so far, and the instructors I’ve had. This really is a peaceful yet energetic, kind and open space to practice in. Plus- plenty of parking and it’s right next to Nervous Charlie’s! Yoga then bagel is the move
