Yoga means union, and also union of opposites...effort and ease, strength and flexibility. To find balance in the body, we need both movement and stillness. Flow +Chill is a combination class, starting with a slower paced vinyasa, followed by restorative poses (supported by props). We will flow for half of class to warm the body up, then take the second part of class to stretch, release tension and dive into a deeper state of chill.

Really clean, vibey studio. Always have a great assortment of yoga classes, a lot of which incorporate meditation and sound baths. Registering for classes as a member is a breeze and everyone is always helpful and kind. Really recommend for anyone who can afford the monthly membership price!

I'm new to Georgetown, and I travel for work and get the opportunity to visit many different studios. However, Flow Yoga - Georgetown location has become my favorite place to practice! From the amazing teachers to the ambience in studio itself to the wonderful hot tea served in the lobby, Flow Yoga hits on all cylinders! Thank you for welcoming me and making my experience so healing and so five star on all levels!! Brian G.

I was in town for a week and used the new member special to attend three heated vinyasa classes and one yin class. The teachers were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Parking & check-in were easy. I loved sitting with a tea in the lobby after class! Such a unique experience 🫶🏼

5 star rating Selena M. 5 star review for Georgetown December 3, 2024

I recently started the 30-day trial for $30, and I’m absolutely loving the studio and classes so far. There’s an impressive variety of classes for all levels, and I’ve already tried classes with eight different instructors. Every class leaves me feeling relaxed and refreshed. Plus, the complimentary tea at the front desk is such a thoughtful bonus! The only downside is that the monthly membership fee after the trial is quite expensive. As a social worker, I’m not sure I’ll be able to afford it after the first 30 days. That said, I truly appreciate the value of paying instructors fairly for their expertise. It’s also great to see that they offer discounts for seniors, military members, teachers, and students.

Easy to sign up for classes, instructors are clear, friendly and positive throughout the class, and you are able to access multiple studios, even on 30 for $30. Overall, Greta experience

FAQ

Yoga for children is like a superhero training camp, only without the spandex and capes (unless you're into that sort of thing). It can help improve focus, concentration, and coordination, while also promoting self-esteem and body awareness. Plus, it's a great way to tire them out before bedtime.

Expect to feel like a human pretzel at times, but don't worry, you'll eventually become a master of the art of twisting and bending. You'll also likely experience a sense of calm and relaxation, and possibly even a newfound appreciation for your body and its capabilities.

Choosing the right yoga class is like picking a movie to watch – you want to find one that matches your mood and interests. Check out different studios, read class descriptions, and don't be afraid to ask questions. And remember, if you end up in a class that's not quite your cup of tea, there's always the next one.

Absolutely! Yoga is like a universal language for your body. It can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels, and can be adapted to meet the needs of each individual. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting on the couch all day.

If you have an injury, think of yourself as a master chef adapting a recipe. You can modify yoga poses by using props like blocks or straps, or simply by adjusting your alignment. And remember, it's better to be safe than sorry – no one wants to end up with a yoga-induced injury that puts them out of commission for weeks.
