What you'll learn in this yoga teacher training

Within this Yoga Teacher Training, you’ll learn the core elements of a 200-hour program,  including anatomy, alignment, sequencing, cueing, ethics, and class structure, while also cultivating the embodiment, self-awareness, and presence needed to teach from an authentic, grounded place.

Through the use of somatic tools, embodied practices, and a supportive community, this training invites deep self-inquiry, the softening of old patterns, and the development of a sustainable personal practice that meets you where you are.

Growth unfolds through shared experience, mentorship, and connection, offering steady support as you build the skills, confidence, and clarity to show up as your most authentic self,  both as a teacher and in everyday life.

Sound Healing Certificate add-on: If you're interested in incorporating sound into your teaching or personal practice, you have the opportunity to add on our 20-hour Sound Healing Certificate training (additional fee). This optional module is scheduled midway through our main YTT on an off weekend, so participants who choose it will be enrolled in both trainings.

Humanities

Build a deeper, more personal relationship with yoga beyond the physical practice. You’ll explore yoga philosophy and the Eight-Limbed Path as outlined in the Yoga Sutras, while engaging in journaling, circle groups, and guided discussion. Our humanities module includes book-based inquiry using The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer, offering space for reflection, honest conversation, and meaningful self-inquiry around the principles being taught.

Deepening Your Own Practice

This training offers space to reconnect with yourself through daily practice. You’ll create a personal rhythm that supports your body, mind, and inner life while learning to observe your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. By cultivating awareness and openness, you’ll discover what truly nourishes you, allowing your practice to grow and shift alongside your life.

Embodiment

Learn how to teach from lived experience, not just technique. Through somatic tools, breath awareness, and embodied practices, you’ll deepen your connection to your own body while learning how to recognize and respond to the unique needs of your students. Embodying the practice helps emphasize teaching beyond memorization, cultivating presence, sensitivity, and intuitive responsiveness in the classroom.

Asana + Teaching Labs

Dive deeply into physical postures through hands-on exploration and practice. Asana Labs provide opportunities to refine alignment, explore variations, and practice teaching in a supportive environment. You’ll receive feedback and mentorship from your teachers while learning alongside your YTT community, building confidence, clarity, and skill through real-time experience.

FAQ

We go beyond the basics, in addition to core Yoga Alliance foundations, this training weaves in somatic tools, reflective inquiry, hands-on labs, circle discussions, and embodied skill building to help you move from memorizing cues to teaching from experience and presence.

It fosters presence, sensitivity, and a sustainable practice that nourishes both your role as a teacher and your everyday life in a supportive community.

No previous yoga proficiency is required. If you're curious and ready to commit, this training will meet you where you are.

To receive your certificate of completion you must attend 100% of the classes to comply with the Yoga Alliance requirements. Up to 16 hours of class time is acceptable to miss, but a make up session must be completed.

The amount of time will vary for each person. There will be assigned reading between modules, attendance of studio classes, personal reflection, and preparation for practice teaching.

This time is essential for integrating what we explore together, deepening your practice, confidence, and authenticity as both practitioner and potential teacher. It's flexible to fit your life, and many trainees find it nourishing rather than burdensome. If life gets busy, we're here to support adjustments while maintaining completion of required hours.

Our student manual will be provided. Other Required Books will be at your expense and a list will be sent by email prior to training.

Limited Scholarships may be available, applications required.
