Yoga Teacher Training: Yin Yoga Foundations: 20- Hour Continuing Education Training

Aug 7, 2026

Yin yoga invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with stillness. In a fast-paced world that often prioritizes productivity over well-being, this practice offers a counterbalance—creating space to pause, tune inward, and release tension held in the body, mind, and energy systems.
This 20-hour training explores yin yoga in depth, covering its origins and philosophy, as well as its physical, mental, and energetic effects. You’ll learn how to adapt poses for different needs, support both yourself and your students, and thoughtfully design yin sequences.
Whether you’re completely new to yin or looking to deepen your understanding, this program provides a rich, immersive foundation and practical tools to confidently integrate and share the practice.

The training runs from:

Aug 7 - Aug 9, 2026

Yin Yoga Foundations: 20- Hour Continuing Education Training

FAQ

Yin Yoga is much more than slowing down poses. It teaches you how to work with the body's connective tissues, fascia, joints, meridians, breath, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. A Yin Yoga Training gives you the knowledge and confidence to safely guide students into a deeper, more meditative practice that complements any yoga style.

Not at all. While yoga teachers will earn valuable continuing education hours and new teaching skills, this training is also perfect for dedicated students, wellness practitioners, bodyworkers, Reiki practitioners, and anyone seeking personal growth, stress relief, and a deeper understanding of themselves

Unlike active, muscle-focused styles, Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissues through longer-held poses. The practice encourages stillness, patience, mindfulness, and the ability to be present with what is. Many students discover that Yin Yoga becomes as much an inner journey as a physical practice.

We live in a culture that constantly encourages doing, achieving, and pushing forward. Yin Yoga offers the opposite—a chance to slow down, listen inward, regulate the nervous system, and cultivate balance. It teaches us that growth can come through surrender, not just effort.

Absolutely. Yin Yoga develops skills that benefit every style of teaching. You'll learn how to observe students more deeply, offer meaningful modifications, create intentional sequences, and guide students into a profound experience of self-awareness and relaxation.

Perfect! Yin Yoga is not about flexibility. It is about finding your unique edge and honoring your body's individual structure. The practice meets you exactly where you are.

No. While stretching is part of the practice, Yin Yoga also works with fascia, joint health, energetic balance, mindfulness, emotional awareness, and nervous system regulation. It is a holistic practice that affects body, mind, and spirit.

The value extends far beyond the training weekend. You will gain practical teaching skills, continuing education hours, a deeper understanding of anatomy and energy systems, and tools you can use for a lifetime. Many graduates find that the personal growth alone—learning how to slow down, listen inward, and cultivate presence—is invaluable. The knowledge and confidence you gain can enrich your teaching, your personal practice, and your overall well-being for years to come.

Yin Yoga teaches us how to be with ourselves. In the stillness of the poses, we learn patience, acceptance, compassion, and trust. These lessons often extend far beyond the mat and into everyday life.

You will leave with:
✓ A complete understanding of Yin Yoga fundamentals
✓ Confidence to teach a Yin Yoga class
✓ Continuing education hours (if applicable)
✓ Ready-to-use class sequences and teaching tools
✓ A deeper connection to yourself
✓ Techniques to support stress reduction and nervous system health
✓ A community of like-minded practitioners

Because Yin Yoga fills a gap that many people don't realize exists. It teaches skills that are increasingly needed in today's world: slowing down, regulating stress, cultivating mindfulness, improving mobility, and creating meaningful connection. Whether you teach yoga, work in wellness, or simply want to deepen your own journey, Yin Yoga offers tools that will serve you for a lifetime.
