at North LoopStart the new year with intention.
Join a 2 hour mindful movement and deep rest experience designed to help you reset, unwind, and begin the year feeling grounded and clear. All are welcome.
Begin the new year by moving with intention and settling into stillness. This special New Year’s Day class is a 1 hour energizing yet beginner friendly mindful flow, followed by a 1 hour deep chill yin and restorative practice, thoughtfully designed to support you physically, mentally, and energetically as you step into the year ahead.
The first half of class will be an energizing, accessible flow to build warmth, encourage circulation, and ease you into your body, with options offered throughout. From there, we will transition into a slower, more grounding practice featuring long held yin and restorative postures to support deep release and nervous system rest. The experience will close with an extended sound bath savasana, allowing you to fully integrate and relax.
Throughout the class, several mindful moments and guided reflections will be woven in around the theme of intention setting for the new year. There will be no pressure, resolutions, or expectations. Just space to pause, breathe, and consciously choose how you want to feel moving forward.
This class is perfect if you are looking to move gently, unwind deeply, and start the new year feeling centered, refreshed, and at home in your body.
All levels welcome. Come as you are.

Taylor has been practicing yoga since 2010. Yoga has profoundly impacted her life—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—which ultimately inspired her to share the practice with others and become a teacher. She currently teaches power, vinyasa, hatha flow, hatha, yin, and restorative yoga. While she teaches all levels, she prefers to keep her classes as beginner-friendly as possible, offering up-level options for those who want them. Regardless of the style she’s teaching, her primary focus is helping students leave with a regulated nervous system and a deep sense of peace.
