Welcome to our free community yoga class, taught by our team of dedicated yoga trainees!
Our trainees have undergone extensive training in various yoga practices and are excited to share their knowledge with you and continue to stretch and grow their teaching muscles (so to speak!)
Each class will showcase a different yoga style such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Flow, Yin, Kundalini and more.
Participants will be given an anonymous feedback form to write down words of encouragement, what they have enjoyed about the class and/or things the new teachers could improve upon.
If you have an injury, think of yourself as a master chef adapting a recipe. You can modify yoga poses by using props like blocks or straps, or simply by adjusting your alignment. And remember, it's better to be safe than sorry – no one wants to end up with a yoga-induced injury that puts them out of commission for weeks.
Yoga helps with mental health like a therapist, only without the couch and notepad. It can help you learn to manage your thoughts and emotions, increase self-awareness, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Plus, it's a lot more fun than lying on a couch talking about your childhood.
Yoga is like a gentle cardio workout for your heart. It gets your blood flowing, strengthens your heart muscle, and can help lower blood pressure. Plus, you don't have to worry about your heart skipping a beat when you see your yoga instructor – unless they're really, really attractive.
Yoga helps with flexibility like a ballet dancer, helping you move gracefully and fluidly. It can help improve posture, increase range of motion, and reduce the risk of injuries. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than trying to pirouette in a tutu.
Yoga is like a lullaby for your body. It can help improve your sleep quality by reducing stress, calming your mind, and promoting relaxation. Plus, it's a lot more fun than counting sheep all night.
