Sacred Song & Sound Healing At Flow Yoga Westgate

Join us for this beautiful monthly gathering where we come together in a ceremonial setting to drop in deeply with ourselves and one another and experience song and sound as a prayer. We'll spend an hour singing together, connecting to our hearts through our voices with powerful prayers in the form of chants and sacred songs. We then move into a multi-vibrational soundscape with crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, vocal sounding, and percussive texture. Here you are invited to recline and go deeper into your own experience.

About the group, Sparrow
Sparrow is a multi-instrumental band in devotion to love, connection, community, and expansion through the creation of song and sound as a prayer offering. They create spaces where each person is invited to embody their truest expression as the essence of divine creation and love.

FAQ

Yoga helps with energy levels like a cup of coffee, providing a natural boost of energy without the caffeine crash. It can help improve circulation, increase oxygen intake, and reduce fatigue. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than chugging a pot of coffee.

To prepare for a yoga class, channel your inner yogi by wearing comfortable, stretchy clothes, bringing a yoga mat, and leaving your ego at the door. Remember to hydrate before and after class, and don't forget to silence your phone – nobody wants to hear your ringtone during Savasana.

Absolutely! Yoga isn't about being able to touch your toes, it's about connecting with your body and finding your own edge. It's like learning to play an instrument, you start with the basics and work your way up. And who knows, with practice you might even surprise yourself and become a human pretzel.

Bringing your own yoga mat to class is like bringing your own pillow to a sleepover – it's a personal preference. Most studios provide mats, but if you're a germaphobe or just want to be extra prepared, feel free to bring your own. Just make sure it's clean and not too slippery.

Absolutely! Yoga is like a Swiss Army knife for your health. It can be used as a complementary therapy for a wide range of health conditions, including chronic pain, cardiovascular disease, and mental health issues. Plus, it's a lot more fun than taking a bunch of pills all day.
