Come hang out with Gurudhan, Sirgun, and Kirtan after Gurudhan’s class for some tea and a casual chat about the upcoming Kundalini and Meditation Teacher Training.
This free event is perfect for anyone curious about the science of Kundalini kriyas and meditation. We’ll talk about things like meridian points and breathing techniques.
Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or aspire to become a teacher, everyone is welcome!
About Kundalini & Meditation TT:
The training focuses on regulating our inner world to help us make healthier choices when dealing with external challenges.
Learn more about the training here.
Gurudhan has been practicing and teaching Kundalini yoga since 1971.
Emphasis is placed on explaining the physiological effects of Kundalini energy based on ancient Chinese traditional energy meridian lines and points as well as how breath technology effects our nerves and glands.
Gurudhan has taught Kundalini yoga in these cities:
New York City 1971 - 1997
Los Angeles 1998 - 2012
Austin 2013 - Present
His Kundalini classes will provide a strong physical workout, an opportunity to “deep relax” afterward, and a meditation at the end of class to elevate the soul.

An Austin native, Sirgun begin practicing yoga since 1972, and then began teaching at Yoga Yoga after completing the 200hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher training, along with her husband, in 2005. She went on to complete the 500 hour Kundalini training, 500 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher training, Relax and Renew training (restorative), with Judith Lasater, Gong training with Mehtab, multiple Kundalini trainings with Gurucharan Khalsa, Prenatal training with Leslie Lytle, Level 1 Yoga Therapy training, and multiple trainings with Gary Kraftsow and Leslie Kaminoff, to name a few. Taking classes from visiting teachers to learn more is one of her passions. She strives to pass on her love and knowledge of yoga to anyone who wants to practice. “Yoga keeps me young at heart, open minded, and increases my health and vigor daily. I love connecting to my infinity and finding that calmness and stillness within.”
Sirgun and her husband Bir love to cook, so they cater parties and yoga retreats during the year. She is also trained in the healing arts of Reiki, Diksha, and Tibetan bowl therapy.
She loves teaching at Yoga Yoga because she feels so at home and supported, constantly inspired by her students and fellow teachers. Her classes are fun and challenging with a very positive, inclusive energy. She encourages students to go beyond their self-imposed boundaries, while still listening to their bodies, offering modifications and working within her students' limits. Sirgun offers breathwork, movement, and meditation to help students get in touch with their infinite and beautiful souls, face their problems and challenges, and relax and enjoy a better life.
