What to expect

The intention of these classes is to provide a container of healing by supporting the body with the use of postures and props designed to facilitate the release of mind-body tension and bring the central nervous system to a state of balance and recovery.

Restorative yoga, also known as gentle yoga, is a type of yoga that aims to relax, revive, and refresh the body, mind, and spirit. It is a branch of hatha yoga, an ancient Indian practice that focuses on stretching and strengthening the physical body to prepare for sitting meditation.

During a restorative yoga session, you will experience slow and gentle movements, extended poses held with the help of props such as blankets and blocks, and an overall atmosphere of tranquility and ease. The poses can be held for a duration of two to twenty minutes. While restorative yoga may be similar to yin yoga, the two practices have differences. Yin yoga is intended to stretch deep layers of the body through long-held poses that apply a deliberate amount of stress while restorative focuses more on relaxing and supporting.

In fact, a regular yoga practice will actually help you become more flexible over time. Increased flexibility can help decrease the risk of injuries, create a better range of motion of joints, lengthen muscles, improve balance and overall health!Flexibility + mobility is a fun, judgment-free space, suitable for all levels. In this class we will work on different muscle groups and joints each week, using Functional movements, CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations), Kinstretch techniques as well as Myofascial release to improve range of motion and flexibility. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, and tennis balls will be used to target specific areas and help ease your body into the poses and stretches. Modifications and options will be offered throughout the class.

Flow +Chill is a combination class, starting with a slower paced vinyasa, followed by restorative poses (supported by props). My fiddle teacher was out sick so rather than head into Austin to my usual yoga studio I decided to take it easy and tap into some classes here. I love that the studio has a touch of feminine. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Lots of positivity. I found Carolina the owner to be a very gracious host. She has a great sense of humor and her class was alot of fun. I also enjoyed Winnie and JJ’s classes. It’s good to be able to pay a membership and travel around to the various studios to experience the different teachers and their unique teaching styles. I’m grateful for these opportunities and offerings. It’s very accessible, organized and well thought out.

Everything about this studio / Flow Yoga is amazing. The teachers, classes, the teaching and allowing flexibility during lessons to try out things based on intensity levels is great. We started with the 30-day program offer and it was great to experience different teachers and their unique yoga teaching styles. Studio is very clean, inviting and they have yoga mats and other supporting gear to use. I would highly recommend this place, both me and my wife love this place! We also introduced another friend of ours here and it has been great!

I love the Flow Yoga studio in Cedar Park. The teachers are inviting, helpful and make yoga practice fun. During all level of classes the teachers offer modifications and challenges to help students meet their personal goals & levels of practice. Teachers also are available after class if you have questions about poses etc… This studio has a great vibe & is very inviting. Equipment is available for each class. I am loving this studio in Cedar Park. Joined via the 30 day special and have taken a variety of classes over the last 2 weeks. Each has been great and offers something a little different. The instructors are all very friendly and talented. The studio is very clean and inviting including several bathrooms, changing room and shower if needed! I also love the yogi tea available after class! My only wish is for a few earlier classes during the week before work.
