Flow is slower paced than your vinyasa classes but faster and more succinct than a Hatha practice. Classes will have elements of flowing sequences as well as extended holds so that practitioners can get aspects of expression and structure in a balanced and all levels friendly container. The degree to which each element is present will be individual to the teacher but regardless this class is inclusive to all.
The main goal of this style of yoga is to create a state of calmness and balance while finding strength. You can also perform it as a form of moving meditation. Yoga can help with menopause symptoms like a soothing balm for your body. It can help reduce hot flashes, improve sleep, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting in a freezer to cool off.
Yoga for children is like a superhero training camp, only without the spandex and capes (unless you're into that sort of thing). It can help improve focus, concentration, and coordination, while also promoting self-esteem and body awareness. Plus, it's a great way to tire them out before bedtime.
Absolutely! Yoga isn't about being able to touch your toes, it's about connecting with your body and finding your own edge. It's like learning to play an instrument, you start with the basics and work your way up. And who knows, with practice you might even surprise yourself and become a human pretzel.
Yoga helps with energy levels like a cup of coffee, providing a natural boost of energy without the caffeine crash. It can help improve circulation, increase oxygen intake, and reduce fatigue. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than chugging a pot of coffee.
Yoga helps with joint health like a well-oiled machine, keeping your joints flexible and lubricated. It can help improve range of motion, reduce stiffness and inflammation, and prevent joint injuries. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than getting a tune-up at the mechanic's shop.
