The First Annual Great Planksgiving at Flow Yoga Georgetown will be a fun, spirited, and community-driven yoga “race day” that celebrates endurance, movement, and joy. A Vinyasa style class moving through a ladder-style flow with modifications and rest stops throughout! Each round will build on the last, stacking poses to test your endurance, focus, and stamina.
Expect plenty of heat, laughter, and flow as we move in unison, building toward a joyful finish line.
No matter your pace, there’s space for everyone! You’ll leave feeling energized, connected, and ready to celebrate the day ahead.
We will be ordering t-shirts for this event with more details to come! Please select your ticket option with or without a Celebration t-shirt!
Bringing your own yoga mat to class is like bringing your own pillow to a sleepover – it's a personal preference. Most studios provide mats, but if you're a germaphobe or just want to be extra prepared, feel free to bring your own. Just make sure it's clean and not too slippery.
Yoga helps with energy levels and fatigue like a power nap, helping you recharge and refresh. It can help improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and increase overall energy and vitality. Plus, it's a lot more relaxing than trying to sleep on a crowded airplane.
Yoga helps with digestion and detoxification like a spring cleaning for your body, helping you get rid of toxins and waste. It can help improve circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system, and promote overall digestive health. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than cleaning out your garage.
Yoga can help improve longevity like a fountain of youth for your body. It can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases, improve cardiovascular health, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than drinking from an actual fountain of youth.
Yoga is like a soothing lullaby for your body's aches and pains. It helps to release tension, improve flexibility, and strengthen muscles, all of which can contribute to reducing chronic pain. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than a lifetime supply of pain relievers.
