Start the New Year strong by setting and completing a transformative and intentional practice of 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutations led by Flow Yoga's founder Carolina Bolinger, bringing you into resonance with the fire of transformation and purification. We will begin the session with the significance of the number 108 and the practice of Sankalpa (setting intentions), followed by a meditation and warm up.We will practice a guided 108 rounds of Sun Salutations broken down by 12 sets of 9, setting a new intention with each round, we will seal this incredible practice with a relaxing cool down and sound bath.Don’t be scared of the number! Although this practice can be challenging, it is also way more than it's physicality, there are many ways to “salute” your Self - this guided practice includes your first steps into 2025 and it is a great opportunity to honor what you want to invite in and what would you like to release.Modifications will be offered, as well as little breaks. This is a challenging practice and yet it done safely, mindfully and honoring wherever you're at, that being 1 or 108 Sun Salutations. As we “salute the sun”, we open ourselves up to the qualities that the sun embodies – healing light, warmth, sustenance, energy, our inner strength and power… We acknowledge that those qualities also are within us and through our actions, we are able to shine brighter and better in the New Year. We ultimately salute our own true Self in this process.Reserve your spot in advance, this event sells out.Doors open 10:15amPractice starts 10:30am (doors lock)Please no late arrivalsMats and props provided.

One of the most popular yoga myths is the belief that you need to be flexible before ever setting foot on a mat. The truth is, flexibility isn’t a prerequisite. In fact, a regular yoga practice will actually help you become more flexible over time. Increased flexibility can help decrease the risk of injuries, create a better range of motion of joints, lengthen muscles, improve balance and overall health!Flexibility + mobility is a fun, judgment-free space, suitable for all levels. In this class we will work on different muscle groups and joints each week, using Functional movements, CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations), Kinstretch techniques as well as Myofascial release to improve range of motion and flexibility. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, and tennis balls will be used to target specific areas and help ease your body into the poses and stretches. Modifications and options will be offered throughout the class.
