Breathwork & Meditation At 3rd Eye
A grounded, beginner-friendly breathwork and meditation class designed to help you slow down, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself. We’ll start with simple, accessible breathing techniques to release tension and quiet the mind, then move into a guided meditation that supports clarity, presence, and inner steadiness. This is not intense or performance-based—no experience is needed, and you’re welcome exactly as you are. The tone is calm, steady, and reflective—guided with the kind of perspective that comes from lived experience and a sincere intention to share what’s helped over time.

What to expect:
  • Gentle breathwork to regulate stress and bring you back into the body
  • Guided meditation focused on ease, awareness, and grounding
  • Space to settle, reflect, and leave feeling clear and supported

Come as you are. This is a simple practice with a real impact.

Please bring water as breathing practices can cause the throat to dry.

Preparing for class:
*Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, checking in, and setting up your mat. Classes take place in the Alma room located in the front courtyard of Casa de Luz.

*While we do have a limited number of mats available, we may not have enough for every student in larger classes. To ensure everyone is covered, we kindly ask that you bring your own mat if you have one. This way, those who truly need to borrow one can do so. With your help, we can continue to support one another and make our shared space comfortable and accessible for all.

We also invite you to bring any personal items (blanket, eye mask, pillow, etc.) that will help you to feel extra comfortable during class.

*Some of our classes may include optional physical touch, such as gentle adjustments or supportive contact, to help guide you in your practice. Your instructor will always announce this at the beginning of class.

If you prefer not to receive any physical touch, please feel free to let the instructor know before class begins. We fully support your choice and want to ensure that you feel safe, respected, and comfortable at all times.

FAQ

To prepare for a yoga class, channel your inner yogi by wearing comfortable, stretchy clothes, bringing a yoga mat, and leaving your ego at the door. Remember to hydrate before and after class, and don't forget to silence your phone – nobody wants to hear your ringtone during Savasana.

Yoga helps with pregnancy like a prenatal vitamin, providing nourishment and support for both mother and baby. It can help you prepare for childbirth, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall well-being. Plus, it's a lot more fun than swallowing a giant pill.

To prevent injuries during yoga practice, treat your body like a delicate flower – with care and respect. Warm up properly, listen to your body, and don't push yourself too far. And remember, it's better to take a break and rest than to force yourself into a pose that could lead to injury.

Yoga helps with energy levels and fatigue like a power nap, helping you recharge and refresh. It can help improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and increase overall energy and vitality. Plus, it's a lot more relaxing than trying to sleep on a crowded airplane.

Yoga can help boost your immune system like a superhero cape for your cells. It can help reduce stress, which can weaken your immune system. Plus, the focus on breath control can help improve lung function and reduce the risk of respiratory infections.
