Yoga Sculpt At Flow Yoga Georgetown with Carolyn E.

Yoga Sculpt is a dynamic fusion of yoga, strength training, and cardio designed to build lean muscle, boost metabolism, and increase endurance. Traditional yoga postures are combined with controlled resistance movements, light weights, and bursts of heart-pumping cardio to challenge both body and mind.

Expect an energizing, full-body workout that builds strength while keeping you grounded in breath and alignment. Bring your own dumbbells (2–15 lbs) and get ready to sculpt, sweat, and flow.

This class is suitable for all levels. Modifications and options are always offered, making it accessible whether you're new to sculpt or looking to level up your practice.

Vinyasa yoga is a creative form of yoga. Yoga poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence. Expect to move, sometimes vigorously, from pose to pose. This practice stimulates and energizes the mind and body through asanas (poses), with focus on the breath. This class will help you to build strength, increase endurance, create flexibility, and release tension. If you appreciate having things a little loose and like to keep moving, this style is definitely worth a try.hot at 80-85 degreesRead class details

First of let me say, I'm an emotional basketcase and I have scoliosis and runners knee. Ya girl needs yoga because PT was not doing it. This is also about to be a long ass review. First I went to a lunch time class at their north loop location and rudely got there late. Then I remembered I had a psychiatrist call mid class and ran out and left crap absolutely everywhere. I come back and they've just cleaned up after me and gave me all these free class cards and were just absolutely so kind when I had been just terribly rude. Then as I'm leaving their parking lot some dude rear ends me but I was in such a good mood from how nice the experience was that I told him I didn't really give a shit about it and let him leave without getting his insurance. LOL So I think I'm gonna try this out again in georgetown and once again, I am like 15 minutes late to the damn class. There is this woman up front who was so kind to help me with everything, and I explained that I am really new to yoga and what I'd signed up for. She said it would probably be difficult and fast paced but I was welcome to try. I then let her know I also just had a bunch of plastic surgery like a week and a half ago and she put the brakes on me REAL QUICK. She suggests I take this meditation class instead and let me tell yall, it was relaxing as hell. I am so tightly wound and a horrible insomniac and about half way through I relaxed enough to fall asleep and miss three really important calls from my surgeon. 😂 Anyways i finally get ahold of ole dude and he's in agreement with this lady up front that I was completely delusional trying to take this other fast paced class and needed to chill tf out for a few weeks and heal up. Luckily she pointed out the other slow ones to me so I know what I can actually sign up for. ANYWAYS I've always been so intimidated because of poor coordination, posture, and anxiety making good form difficult. The people who work and teach at these locations are so kind, helpful and relaxing to be around it's almost like stepping into another dimension. Even the other students have really kind, pleasant demeanors. Definitely planning on renewing with their unlimited plan and hopefully I can get to some classes on time and without anyone crashing into my car 🙏

I start my morning here multiple times a week. It’s lovely. Consider kickstarting your day with Flow Yoga - Georgetown. Each instructor thoughtfully guides you through the class, whether you’re new to yoga or not. Bring a mat (or I believe you can borrow). There’s always free hot tea with honey!

FAQ

Yoga helps with weight management like a personal trainer, only without the whistle and clipboard. It can help you build lean muscle mass, increase metabolism, and reduce stress, all of which can contribute to weight loss and maintenance. Plus, it's a lot more fun than counting calories.

Yoga is like a gentle cardio workout for your heart. It gets your blood flowing, strengthens your heart muscle, and can help lower blood pressure. Plus, you don't have to worry about your heart skipping a beat when you see your yoga instructor – unless they're really, really attractive.

Yoga can help with energy levels and fatigue like a natural energy drink for your body. It can help improve blood flow, increase energy levels, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than guzzling energy drinks all day.

Yoga is like a chill pill for your emotions. It can help with anger management by teaching you to stay calm and centered, even when things get tough. Plus, it's a lot more fun than punching a pillow all day.

Yoga is like a dance with your body, while meditation is a dance with your mind. Both practices can help you feel more centered and calm, but yoga incorporates physical movement, while meditation is more focused on stillness and introspection.
