Free: Yoga in the Park
Sat Mar 14 at 10am
Join Dillon for a workshop that weaves together long-held yin postures, guided meditation, and an immersive sound bath to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect.
We’ll begin with grounding yin shapes designed to gently open the hips, spine, and shoulders while encouraging stillness and breath awareness. From there, you’ll be guided into a yoga nidra practice — a deeply restorative meditation done lying down — allowing the body to rest while the mind moves toward clarity and ease.
The evening will close with a sound bath experience, using layered tones and vibrations to support integration and deep relaxation.
This is not about stretching deeper or “doing” more. It’s about creating space — physically, mentally, and emotionally — so your system can recalibrate.
No experience necessary. Dress cozy and bring a mat, water, and/or anything that helps you feel comfortable (blanket, bolster, eye pillow).
Choosing the right yoga style is like finding the perfect pair of jeans – it's all about personal preference and what fits you best. Do some research, try out different styles, and don't be afraid to mix and match until you find the perfect combination. And remember, just because your best friend swears by Bikram yoga doesn't mean it's the right style for you.
Your finest stretchy pants, of course! But seriously, wear something comfortable and breathable that allows you to move freely. No need for designer labels, unless you want to impress the yoga mat next to you.
Yoga can help with fatigue like a shot of energy for your body. It can help improve blood flow, increase energy levels, and reduce stress. Plus, it's a lot more fun than drinking a cup of coffee every day.
Yoga helps with stress and anxiety like a superhero cape, giving you the power to overcome your fears and worries. It can help you learn to breathe through challenging situations, increase resilience, and reduce the physical symptoms of stress. Plus, it's a lot more comfortable than wearing a cape.
Yoga can help with chronic pain and injury recovery like a physical therapist for your body. It can help reduce pain and stiffness, improve flexibility, and increase strength. Plus, it's a lot more fun than going to physical therapy all day.
