Flow Yoga South Congress in Austin TexasSam P.

Hot Vinyasa yoga offers a dynamic hot yoga experience where poses flow together with breath in a hot room (85-90 degrees). Vinyasa keeps you constantly moving through creative sequences that never feel repetitive. The combination of heat and continuous movement creates an energizing practice that quickly builds internal warmth, promotes detoxification through sweat, and helps muscles stretch more deeply.  The hot environment intensifies the experience, creating greater flexibility and a purifying sweat without the extreme temperatures of some other hot yoga styles.Read class details

This slower-paced flow class connects breath with movement. You'll be constantly moving from one pose to the next, without stopping between positions. The teacher guides you through a series of positions that build strength, improve flexibility, and help with balance.Classes typically start with simple stretches, move into a sequence where you're always in motion, and end with relaxing poses. The teacher gives step-by-step instructions and shows easier or harder options for each position. This class works for everyone - beginners get simpler options while more experienced students can try more challenging versions. You'll leave feeling stronger, more flexible, and more relaxed.Read class details

I love this studio. I loved it when it was Yoga Yoga and I love it now as Yoga Flow. They have a great variety of classes and teachers which works well with my crazy schedule. The community is friendly and I always leave this space with a smile.

I can’t recommend this yoga studio enough! From the moment I joined, it’s felt like a welcoming little escape in my week. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and inclusive. If you’re looking for a place that feels both grounding and uplifting, this studio is truly a gem.

This studio is so peaceful and beautiful, and is home to some truly incredible teachers. JJ, Sania, and Jillian are some of my favorite instructors. Brianna, the studio manager is so warm and welcoming. The functional mobility class is like PT for healthy folks. I've never taken a class like it and it's doing me a world of good!

Very pleased to find Flow Yoga. I did the 30 for 30$ deal as a no risk, inexpensive chance to explore my options and find the perfect class style and teacher fit. Very helpful staff, great atmosphere, and convenient locations, you must try it for yourself and see.

I highly recommend Flow Yoga because of the multiple locations, different styles of yoga & for their awesome/patient instructors. I’ve had a positive experience while relieving myself of pain from osteoarthritis through out my body. I took advantage of the $30 for 30 day trial membership. Enjoyed the environment so much that I’ve signed up for regular monthly unlimited. Thank you Flow Yoga!

Flow Yoga is such a great studio. There are so many different types of yoga classes, it has been fun to use my unlimited pass to experiment with new classes. All of the teachers are amazing. So happy they opened a new studio on South Congress.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flow Yoga ATX is an amazing studio with a welcoming vibe and a variety of great instructors — I enjoyed every class I took there. But the one that was the best fit for me was Playful Power (hot) Saturdays with JJ. His classes were the perfect mix of hard work and lighthearted fun. He made breath the centerpiece of the practice in a way that kept you grounded, even when the poses got challenging. JJ has a great sense of humor, a coach’s energy, and a way of making everyone feel at ease. Highly recommend his class if you’re looking to grow your practice while having a good time!

I love this place! The instructors know their stuff and there’s so much variation. I haven’t had trouble finding a class that is right for me that fits my schedule.

FAQ

There are many different types of yoga, each with their own focus and approach. Some of the most common include:

  • Ashtanga: a dynamic and physically demanding practice
  • Bikram: a series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, practiced in a heated room
  • Iyengar: a meticulous style that emphasizes proper alignment and the use of props
  • Kundalini: a spiritual practice that involves chanting, meditation, and dynamic movement
  • Restorative: a gentle practice that uses props to support the body in passive postures.

Absolutely! Yoga is like a birthing coach for your body. It can help improve your strength, flexibility, and endurance, all of which can come in handy during labor. Plus, the focus on breath control can help you stay calm and focused during contractions.

Yoga helps with pregnancy like a prenatal vitamin, providing nourishment and support for both mother and baby. It can help you prepare for childbirth, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall well-being. Plus, it's a lot more fun than swallowing a giant pill.

Yoga can definitely help with weight loss, but it's not a magic solution. It burns calories, builds muscle, and can help reduce stress-related eating. Plus, it's a lot more fun than spending hours on the treadmill.

Yoga helps with focus and concentration like a laser beam, helping you hone in on the task at hand. It can help improve mental clarity, reduce distractions, and increase productivity. Plus, it's a lot more enjoyable than staring at a computer screen all day.
