Pranayama Practice: Breathe Like A Yogi At 3rd Eye with Austin T.

Breath is one of our most fundamental needs. Connecting with our breath connects us directly with the source of life. “Pranayama” is the practice of relating with life force through your breath and it is one of the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga.

This breathwork class is grounded in the teachings of yoga. We will explore various breathing exercises that will open up our airways and nourish our bodies for the rest of the day. You will learn techniques that you can use to deepen your daily practice.

“When the breath is disturbed, the mind is disturbed. When the breath is undisturbed, the mind is undisturbed and the yogi reaches a stable state. Therefore, one should practice with the breath.”
— Patanjali, The Yoga Sutras

Preparing for class:

*Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, checking in, and setting up your mat. Classes take place in the Alma room located in the front courtyard of Casa de Luz.

*While we do have a limited number of mats available, we may not have enough for every student in larger classes. To ensure everyone is covered, we kindly ask that you bring your own mat if you have one. This way, those who truly need to borrow one can do so. With your help, we can continue to support one another and make our shared space comfortable and accessible for all.

We also invite you to bring any personal items (blanket, eye mask, pillow, etc.) that will help you to feel extra comfortable during class.

*Some of our classes may include optional physical touch, such as gentle adjustments or supportive contact, to help guide you in your practice. Your instructor will always announce this at the beginning of class.

If you prefer not to receive any physical touch, please feel free to let the instructor know before class begins. We fully support your choice and want to ensure that you feel safe, respected, and comfortable at all times.

This 2-hour extended class is designed to help you mentally, emotionally, and physically process the week, so you can enter your weekend feeling grounded, clear, and reconnected. We begin with 75 minutes of mindful, slow-flow vinyasa — a grounding and spacious practice that links breath with movement to open the body, quiet the mind, and bring you into the present moment. This flow is intentional and unhurried, giving you space to move with awareness and release tension. Then we shift inward with 30 minutes of pranayama (breathwork) to regulate your nervous system, increase energy flow, and create inner spaciousness. Breath becomes the bridge between body and mind, helping to clear residual stress or mental clutter. We’ll close with 15 minutes of meditation, allowing you to settle into stillness, integrate the benefits of your practice, and leave with a sense of calm clarity. This class is your opportunity to reset and renew — to unpack whatever the week has held, and make space for the weekend ahead. All levels welcome. Come as you are — leave lighter.Read class details

Immerse yourself in a meditative practice designed to guide you inward, inviting you to connect with the subtle dimensions of your awareness. Rooted in the ancient art of Pranayama, which blends Prana (vital energy) with Yama (restraint), this class creates a space where you will explore the natural ebb and flow of your life force energy.Whether you’re new to breathwork or deepening your practice, Mandy’s sessions offer a safe, welcoming sanctuary where you can simply be. As you practice the two-part breath technique, your mind will be given permission to relax, creating space for your body to release the messages hidden beneath the surface. With every breath, you will uncover deeper layers of yourself, revealing moments of liberation, clarity, and profound self-realization.Each session is unique, and you will receive exactly what you need in the moment. As you journey through the breathwork, you will be gently supported by meditation, sound healing, and a peaceful savasana, allowing you to integrate and ground the transformative energies you’ve accessed.Come as you are—this class is for everyone, and you will leave feeling more connected, centered, and restored. Preparing for class:*Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, checking in, and setting up your mat. Step into a sacred container where breath meets voice, silence meets sound, and the soul remembers itself. The Sacred Exhale: A Breath & Sound Immersion is a collaborative experience guided by Mandy Kleint and Gregory Alexander — two passionate facilitators devoted to the healing power of presence, vibration, and embodiment. This 90-minute experience invites you into the sanctuary of your breath through Mandy’s restorative breathwork journey — a practice rooted in ancient pranayama and modern trauma-informed healing. Through a gentle two-part breath, you’ll be guided inward to soften the mind, open the heart, and release what no longer serves. As the breath deepens, Gregory will weave improvised vocal soundscapes, harmonic layering, and live instrumentation — crystal bowls, chimes, drum, gong, bells, and more — creating a cocoon of pure vibration that resonates through every cell of your being. His voice, described as “a magician’s spell and a balm for the soul,” amplifies the energetic realignments initiated by the breath. This is not performance. It is communion — between you and yourself, you and the unseen, you and the frequencies that remember wholeness. What to expect:Guided two-part breathwork to open the heart, calm the nervous system, and release stagnation.Improvised soundscapes featuring vibrations of singing bowls, channeled vocals, bells, gong, rattles, shakers, native flute, and guitar.A deeply resonant vibrational experience that supports emotional and energetic alignment.Gentle guided meditation and grounding practices to integrate the experience. No experience is required. Come as you are, breathe as you are, and be held in the healing resonance of your own truth. Please bring a yoga mat and anything to help you feel deeply comfortable: blanket, pillow, eye mask, journal, or sacred object.Arrival time: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.Read class details

Best cacao! True & powerful cacao. Serene, peaceful energy in the whole place. Great people all around… excited to try more!

Third Eye Cacao, the most diverse cacao and wellness oriented cafe i have ever visited. This is a phenomenal place for not only grounding with lovely authentic and ethically sourced cacao, but also to meet soulful people, make meaningful connections, and enjoy the fengshue for studying and rejuvination. Words cannot do justice to the full experience. You should come and find out for yourself why this gem in casa de luz among many other beautiful stores and spaces is one to remember. Thankyou ❤️‍🔥

I’ve never met anyone more willing to serve and support community without expecting anything in return. Neil operates from a place of love and authentic intention. Grateful for his support and friendship. If you are in need of inspiration, wisdom, or the best cacao, look no further. ♥️

Kevin P. June 24, 2025

I stopped in for a cup of cocoa, expecting comfort, but what I got was ceremony. The kind of drink that feels like it was made with intention, not just ingredients. A haven in every sense: soft lighting, grounding presence, and offerings that feel more like rituals than menu items. Deepest gratitude to the creators of this space, you’ve stirred something calm and nourishing into the world, one cup at a time.

Finally leaving a review, since I usually forget due to how relaxed I am each time I visit! I can’t stress enough how happy I am that this place exists. No matter the mood I’m in, their drinks are the perfect pick me up and I’m here weekly. My go-to is the Goddess energy with a little bit of honey, but the whole menu is good! Friendly staff too, but I do wish there was some type of reward system.

I love that no matter how busy or slow this place is, the person who works there is personable and graceful. The cacao is nice and so is the ambiance.
