Alison will guide you through multiple rounds of deep breaths in and out through the mouth with a few breath holds in between rounds. This type of breath is meant to stimulate your nervous system; and in the same way that lifting weights strengthens your muscles, somatic breathwork will help strengthen your nervous systems capacity to regulate itself in times of stress.
You may experience emotions or feelings rise to the surface, and we will use the breath to release these emotions. Following the breath, we will drop into a deep meditation, allowing you to experience a full sound bath with various instruments.
