The third eye lounge is a sanctuary for those experiencing a common awakening. The yoga and breathwork classes offered are valuable, insightful and have added great awareness to my practice. I also love the cacao and community it fosters! Every Friday there’s an open mic in the cacao lounge which is a great place to connect with other beautiful people

We had the most amazing experience at 3rd Eye. It was my first sound bath experience and I didn’t know what I was getting into. It was beautiful, emotional and magical. It’s a must experience and I can’t wait to go back.

So grateful for this space. I’ve traveled to many places and taken many classes, but this place literally feels like home. The instructors are all fantastic and intuitively touch on things that I am working on. I’m forever grateful. I recommend for anyone in the Austin area. I am here for a month doing a show at ZACH Theater down the street. They pointed me in this direction and I’ve been taking class almost every day before rehearsal. It’s been a game changer.

I've lived in Austin 15 years and have always wanted to spend more time in/around the Casa De Luz and Third Eye Lounge community, and decided to dive in with the intro package at the start of 2024. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Booking is easy, parking nearby is abundant, and there are props/blankets/mats on site. The community is welcoming, humble, and very diverse. Truly a mix of ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. There's a wide range of classes and events, the instructors are professional and provide consistently good experiences (each with a different personality), and the space is a nice haven right in the middle of Austin. I am also a member of a local gym that I love and have taken Yin classes there, but stepping away from a fitness space to practice mindfulness has been a nice change of pace.

This place is truly like heaven to me-an Oasis in the middle of beautiful Austin. I have really enjoyed all the classes I've attended at this location. Plus, the food and drinks are amazing, healthy, and unique! The scenery in this area is spectacular as well, and I have showed up many times to 3rd Eye simply to hang out, shop, read a few books, and enjoy a lovely, spiritual and open-minded experience. Thank you!

FAQ

If you have an injury, think of yourself as a master chef adapting a recipe. You can modify yoga poses by using props like blocks or straps, or simply by adjusting your alignment. And remember, it's better to be safe than sorry – no one wants to end up with a yoga-induced injury that puts them out of commission for weeks.

Yoga is like a back pain-relieving superhero. It can help reduce back pain by improving your posture, strengthening your core and back muscles, and increasing your flexibility. Plus, it's a lot more fun than lying in bed all day.

Yoga is like a tightrope walker for your body. It can help improve your balance by strengthening your core and leg muscles, and improving your proprioception (your body's awareness of its position in space). Plus, it's a lot more fun than walking a tightrope all day.

Yoga helps with mental focus and concentration like a superhero cape, giving you the power to stay on task and achieve your goals. It can help you learn to quiet the mind, reduce distractions, and increase mental clarity. Plus, it's a lot more comfortable than wearing a cape.

To prevent injuries during yoga practice, treat your body like a delicate flower – with care and respect. Warm up properly, listen to your body, and don't push yourself too far. And remember, it's better to take a break and rest than to force yourself into a pose that could lead to injury.
