ECSTATIC DANCE At 3rd Eye with Farrah W.

Ecstatic dance is an intuitive movement based expression exercise with few cues.
 
The practice will ebb and flow to a curated set played by a live DJ. The playlist will have a rising and flowing energy culminating into a peak - then transitioning into stillness to finish off with a meditation/?havãsana and sound vibration healing.

Upon check in, there is an opportunity to socialize with the community.

The cacao lounge is next door if you would like to purchase a cup of cacao to experience additional heart opening. 

There will be a brief description of the class and container rules and an opportunity to ask questions before leading into movement. 
 

Container rules include:
-No shoes
-No talking
-Consent & respect required for interacting with anyone during the practice
-There is a space provided to congregate/talk
-Flow toys welcome but not provided
-No drugs/alcohol

Immerse yourself in the power of music and sound with this somatic breathwork session. Set to a curated playlist of conscious EDM and frequency vibrations meant to guide you into deep states of healing. Alison will guide you through multiple rounds of deep breaths in and out through the mouth with a few breath holds in between rounds. This type of breath is meant to stimulate your nervous system; and in the same way that lifting weights strengthens your muscles, somatic breathwork will help strengthen your nervous systems capacity to regulate itself in times of stress. You may experience emotions or feelings rise to the surface, and we will use the breath to release these emotions. Following the breath, we will drop into a deep meditation, allowing you to experience a full sound bath with various instruments. Breathwork is meant to be challenging, but that doesn’t mean you cant have fun with it! We can’t wait to have you experience Breathwork Beats!

Love this cacao bar! They sell both cups of cacao, as well as blocks of cacao from all over Central America, including Cacao Source and Nantli Cacao from Guatemala. The only thing I wish could be improved is their sustainability efforts. Every cup of cacao is served in a single use coffee cup. Maybe one day they could offer reusable mugs or cups for customers dining in. All in all, it’s a wonderful space and I highly recommend checking it out in Austin!

The third eye lounge is a sanctuary for those experiencing a common awakening. The yoga and breathwork classes offered are valuable, insightful and have added great awareness to my practice. This place is truly like heaven to me-an Oasis in the middle of beautiful Austin. I have really enjoyed all the classes I've attended at this location. The instructors are all fantastic and intuitively touch on things that I am working on. I’m forever grateful. I recommend for anyone in the Austin area. I am here for a month doing a show at ZACH Theater down the street. They pointed me in this direction and I’ve been taking class almost every day before rehearsal. It’s been a game changer.

I've lived in Austin 15 years and have always wanted to spend more time in/around the Casa De Luz and Third Eye Lounge community, and decided to dive in with the intro package at the start of 2024. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Booking is easy, parking nearby is abundant, and there are props/blankets/mats on site. The community is welcoming, humble, and very diverse. Truly a mix of ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. There's a wide range of classes and events, the instructors are professional and provide consistently good experiences (each with a different personality), and the space is a nice haven right in the middle of Austin. I am also a member of a local gym that I love and have taken Yin classes there, but stepping away from a fitness space to practice mindfulness has been a nice change of pace.
