Somatic Breathwork & Sound Healing At 3rd Eye with Kris K.

During this somatic breathwork and sound healing journey, you will be given the opportunity to drop in with the breath and let it guide you inward, with the intention to release any suppressed emotion that's been stored in the body through expression. While lying on your back, you will be led through a series of deep-breathing exercises at varied speeds along with several breath holds. The breathwork will be synced with music and at certain points the instructor will play additional drums, chimes, and sound bowls to support the experience. Through the cleansing power of the breath, emotions will often come forth to be felt and then released, leaving you lighter and more connected with yourself and the world around you. This class is a safe container to feel and express any emotions or feelings such as anger, sadness, euphoria, clarity, or anything else that might come up for you. No previous breathwork experience required.

Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, and any other items to make yourself comfortable (pillow, eye mask, etc.)

The third eye lounge is a sanctuary for those experiencing a common awakening. The yoga and breathwork classes offered are valuable, insightful and have added great awareness to my practice. I also love the cacao and community it fosters! Every Friday there’s an open mic in the cacao lounge which is a great place to connect with other beautiful people

We had the most amazing experience at 3rd Eye. It was my first sound bath experience and I didn’t know what I was getting into. It was beautiful, emotional and magical. It’s a must experience and I can’t wait to go back.

So grateful for this space. I’ve traveled to many places and taken many classes, but this place literally feels like home. The instructors are all fantastic and intuitively touch on things that I am working on. I’m forever grateful. I recommend for anyone in the Austin area. I am here for a month doing a show at ZACH Theater down the street. They pointed me in this direction and I’ve been taking class almost every day before rehearsal. It’s been a game changer.

I've lived in Austin 15 years and have always wanted to spend more time in/around the Casa De Luz and Third Eye Lounge community, and decided to dive in with the intro package at the start of 2024. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Booking is easy, parking nearby is abundant, and there are props/blankets/mats on site. The community is welcoming, humble, and very diverse. Truly a mix of ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. There's a wide range of classes and events, the instructors are professional and provide consistently good experiences (each with a different personality), and the space is a nice haven right in the middle of Austin. I am also a member of a local gym that I love and have taken Yin classes there, but stepping away from a fitness space to practice mindfulness has been a nice change of pace.

This place is truly like heaven to me-an Oasis in the middle of beautiful Austin. I have really enjoyed all the classes I've attended at this location. Plus, the food and drinks are amazing, healthy, and unique! The scenery in this area is spectacular as well, and I have showed up many times to 3rd Eye simply to hang out, shop, read a few books, and enjoy a lovely, spiritual and open-minded experience. Thank you!
